Denmark's a good choice, there's Legoland for the kids.
That's true... I had a couple of family holidays there when I was a kid in the 80s.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks

Never seen any chavs in Puglia.
No, you get insufferable middle class types who never seem to have listened to Italian vowel sounds judging by how they speak it (even when they live there), and claim everything is so much better than... and Italians don't get drunk, there are no 'chavs' etc, etc. Fourteen years of living in Italy at various times leads me to suggest that they aren't very aware!
But yes, Puglia is a good suggestion, but don't go in the height of the summer as it's far too hot. I'm just about to make a home-made pizza and you've made me change my mind on what to drink: think I'll grab a bottle of Puglia wine from the cupboard...0 -

They do have some nice wine there... love a bit of negroamaro in particular.
June is a great time to go there as it's nice and warm but the holiday crowds from northern Italy haven't descended yet. I've also been in late August and it was hot, but not too much to bear.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
