Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 11 - post your finds here

So nearly got a bargain in boots yesterday - I wanted 3 clinique items so automatically got all the freebies. Then when she scanned my shopping it came to £25! :j Couldn't believe it, as I'd calculated it to be £32.50. She said that the total was wrong, voided it off and tried again - the concealer I'd bought was coming up as *save* on the till when she scanned it, and total again came to £25! I was desperate for her to just accept this, but she insisted that it was wrong, and went to get another concealer, voided it all off and tried again. It came to £32.50.
Why can't they just accept the total the till gives them?
There weren't any good bargains left in newcastle upon Tyne Eldon square store, so I left with just my clinique stuff, and having ordered 3 lots of 10 photos from my digi camera memory card on the 24 hour service. Can I just clarlfy that all I need to do to get them free when they're picked up next week is to hand over each receipt seperately with a £2 voucher we were getting for spending £10? I've paperclipped each of the 3 receipts to a voucher, and told my mum to hand them over seperately, but want to make sure I don't have to do anything else - my mum will pick up the photos next week as I'll be working away, and she's not very good at this bootsing stuff, so need to make it as simple as possible!:jOS weight loss challenge: 4.5/6 lbs0 -

got some photos developed yesterday (collected today). used the 24h service for digital photos.
I split my 50 photos into 5x10 lots and printed separate receipts for each transaction.
I then used £2 off digital photo voucher with each lot.
PLUS 200 points when you use 1h or 24h digital processing voucher from the ACM...
So overall...
5 x 10 photos = 50 photos
5 x £2 vouchers = £10 off...so photos free.
Then the best bit.... 5 x 200 points = 1000 points
So i got 50 free prints + £10 in boots points! Very happy!:D
Just make sure u split your order up into lots of 10s0 -
Hi all
I placed an order on boots.com a couple of days ago and then wanted something else so placed another order and cancelled the first order about 30 minutes after first placing it. It has said cancellation pending since then.
Does anyone know how long it takes for the order to be cancelled and refunded?
Thanks for your help all.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

From Boot's email it was HDN - I assume that is Home Delivery Network.
I had a problem with a Debenhams order that was supposed to have been picked up, said on their computer info it had been, but the Home Delivery Network people hadn't actually come. Yours does sound too long though, e-mail again, but check around your house first. I once had a Boots delivery left in the bin! :eek:0 -
Sorry to ask a thick question. but here goes!
Are Boots stilll issuing the £5.00 skincare vouchers. I've just been in to my local and they haven't given me one. I didn't have time to question this.
All information gratefully received.
Thanks.0 -

Phoned CS and Guy said it was a Nationwide promotion, in selected stores onlyHe said it was a "trial" and none of the Glasgow stores were selected. He did add 500 AC points as a gesture of goodwill

Yes they are...used mine today on Olay Total Effects Hand cream which was originally £5.39. but after the voucher was 39p
Take your receipt back to the store and ask why you didn't receive a voucher. or call customer care?0 -
