Cheapest way to get this is to buy a single trip UK travel insurance policy, for 1 day which costs £1.37.

I ordered a single UK trip insurance via compare the market last year. Where do I find the code to use at the cinema?
  • Hi. Did you get your code ok?

download meerkat movies app to your phone, enter login details (same as compare the market) and press reveal code. I think you need the policy number so they can confirm that you brought it through them as well, but unsure.

  • I wouldn't recommend using ERV insurance- I tried twice to buy an insurance policy with them and got an error message both times so ended up going with Top Dog, then find out ERV have charged me twice and haven't sent me the policies or any confirmation emails regarding these policies, so I am now trying to get the refund for them both but they are saying I need to prove that I took insurance out with Top Dog before they refund their mistake- surely that isn't right?!

When you buy travel insurance it normally offers cancellation cover immediately, so you cannot simply cancel and get a refund.

They are not unreasonably asking for proof you were covered before making any refund (which you won't have a "right" to.

If you are unhappy with the service you have had from them, then make a formal complaint then if you aren't happy with the answer (or they ignore you for 8 weeks) you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you.
