Number plates - dealer addresses

Interesting debate.
So anyone know where I can get the plainest, legal plates from? I don't want the "GB" bit and would prefer whatever compulsory text as small a font as possible.
Doesn't matter if the seller is legal or not, as long as the plates themselves are..
Thanks,
P0 -
I do not object to the bs mark and the suppliers name and postcode but like the halfords plates as it is on there but very discreet
I do object to my car being a free advert for the supplying dealer, when i buy a car the first thing i do is take all the dealers stickers out of the car and if they are advertising on the plates they would come off as well
the Arnold Clark stickers really annoy me every time i see one screaming at me from the rear window of the car in front
we have a dealer around here that has got his dealer name on chrome badges that he sticks on all over the back of cars that he sells
no way would i have that nor would i ever drive a car with an arnold clark sticker :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm the same, dealer rear window stickers and number plates with big writing advertising the dealer get removed. Also tax disc holders as well if they had a big square in multi colours advertising the dealer also.0 -

I can't understand why so few people have the EU band with GB on the plate.
There are alternatives if you don't feel European & British - you can display the Union flag, English flag, Scottish flag, Welsh flag etc. - but I'm British and proud of it.
Without a GB on the plate you need another form of 'country identifier' if you travel outside the UK.
There is no way I'm going to put one of those white elliptical stickers with the black GB on it on my car when I travel abroad.0 -

Yes I like having a plate with the EU band and GB on. Proud to be British also. I wouldn't put one on with just the English flag as sadly it has been made to look racist/thuggish by groups like EDL/Britain First, etc.0 -

AFAIK the white GB plate/sticker is required by international law (the Geneva convention 1949).
The GB incorporated into the numberplate is generally OK within the EU, but not elsewhere.
Even within the EU it has no legal status, and a pedantic/vindictive cop could get you.0 -
