Just wanted to report that after following the link provided by Imogen and completing the form, I have just received my £50 cashback.
Thanks Imogen :T0 -
Signed up for BT broadband with £100 prepaid card reward - you have to wait till your broadband is up and running to claim, I wait ultil it's up and running then go to claim and it says not eligible. At this point you are outside the 14 day cooling off period. Great scam!0

Just a line to say I also have now received the cheque as well as the pre paid card - to be fair all has gone reasonably smoothly and I am pleased with my BT fibre.Downshifted

My switch to BT was completed on Nov 29th with broadband up and running on the same date.
Applied online for £100 BT Reward Card the very next day, only to be informed that I didn't qualify.
Phoned their customer services who apologised and said I'd receive the Reward Card within 30 days.
That was 41 days ago. Still haven't received the Reward Card but did receive email from purecard.com on 25th December with details on how to set the card up when I receive it.
Contacted purecard.com last week to query if reward card was ever mailed to me. They've responded with email saying I should receive the reward card next week.
Must be easier to claim PIP from the DWP and ATOS!0 -
I have pre paid my line saver for 12 months. If BT raise their broadband prices in June (which they did last year) then I can cancel the remaining broadband contract within 30 days.
What happens to the 6 months line saver that is left, as other BB providers insist on including line rental as well?
Last year BT prevented me leaving by saying I would loose the prepaid line saver. In fact BT often run 18 month contracts to get customers in to this position.0 -
UPDATE:
Received my £100 BT Reward Card today which I've just activated.
Late, but better late than never :j0 -
My calendar reminder has just popped up for the cheque-back deal I signed up for last year. I used the link given to me by MSE on the 28/11/2016 and was informed the cheque would be posted to me within 45 Days.
https://www.vouchers.bt.com/offer/cashback
52 days later (thought I'd give them an extra week) still no cheque.
Edit: I tried the affiliates@bt.com mail address but my mail was bounced!
I also tried the SharePoint link Provided by MSE Imogen on a previous post but it says it doesn't recognise my e-mail address on there so I think that is also a dead link:
Next step is the voucherhelp@moneysavingexpert.com but any other suggestions welcome?
Thought some others on this thread would like the reminder too, good luck all!0 -
Hi all
Have read all the comments about claiming cash cards and cheques with interest. I did get a cash card and cheque which is great. However, the fibre broadband deal that the MSE newsletter (Oct 18th) advertised, said that the deal was 'unlimited'. Unfortunately, somehow I got put on the 25Mb deal when following the MSE link, and BT are saying there is nothing they can do about it. Did anyone else get put on the 25Mb deal instead of the unlimited? I do not want to sit back and take this on the chin, because it is now going to cost me a whole lot more than the £219 that the newsletter suggested for the year. Unfortunately 25Mb per month is not enough for this house because of all the connections of various family members, so I am having to 'upgrade' to unlimited at extra cost.0 -
Hello
I have 30 days to cancel my Sky b/b contract following the price increase on line rental ( I have no tv contract)
I have been offered £17.40 per month for standard unlimited B/B less an £18 credit to my account so for a year contract that is £15.90 a month, total £190.80
Can anyone say if that is any good/are people getting better?
thanks0 -
Our experience of the BT offer---I am very pleased with the BT offer we received in terms of the phone, broadband & tv service, finally got us to ditch Virgin which kept creeping up in price. However, we have had some problems with receiving the cashback. The card came through fine and we've spent some of it so that seems to be fine. The cheque has been another matter. We received two cheques for £50 in January. One was dated Jan 2016 so the bank wouldn't accept it but the other was dated Jan 2017 (there was no letter explaining why we received two cheques). I banked the second of the cheques and assumed all was fine until I received a letter from my bank yesterday returning the cheque saying the payment had been stopped. I have been in touch with BT on webchat (all copied and saved) who initially wanted to send me another cheque, then they agreed to do a BACs transfer which they say will take about 5 days. She could not answer why the cheque had been stopped. Yesterday afternoon I then received a strange phone call from someone in the sales team (yes I checked he had all the information in front of him so he was genuinely from BT) who had no idea why he was asked to speak to me but confirms all the information is on the file.
I am pleased with the broadband etc and the setup went smoothly but I remain to be convinced about the cashback and am sceptical about the effectiveness of their customer service.
Update 14th Feb - still no cashback received and impossible to get any sensible response from their 'helpline' I have asked to lodge a complaint but to no avail.0
