sexymouse, sounds interesting, wonder if you'll get to know what it's for :rotfl:

Kaz thanks for that info, it does seem to be happening much more when it's warmer, makes sense really when you think of the biology, I'm really shocked people call an ambulance for a nose bleed!

mumoftwo I also borrowed cook books this week, haven't had a chance to go through yet, got Nora's Dinners and an Ainsley one, got to write out the ones I like the sound of. I do like the sound of the 4 ingredients one, sounds interesting. We're trying moroccan lamb tonight, something I keep meal planning and never cooking, also DP has never tried cous cous so just fingers crossed he likes it, I can cook without the oven so going to try it, hopefully it'll be nice.

DP is up and not in too bad a mood so far, he's been singing much to my youngest sons disgust who said 'Dad not sing please' :rotfl: he sounds awful, anyway he's been twiddling with his cars ready for tomorrow but now gone to collect the pick up, I keep getting called to hold something etc to help but just not interested. Somehow his stuff has started to creep back into the kitchen, this has now been mentioned! There is a battery charger and cars sprawled all over the floor, wonder if I've got any chance in him clearing it before tomorrow! I've just fell in the hall trying to get the laundry out grr! DS2 has taken money again this morning, he seems to see not harm in it at all even after the chat yesterday so going to have to keep money somewhere else, we end up with a lot in the house because of DPs job and can't have this all the time.

Today - well the weathers iffy, looks like it's going to rain and it's forecast so washers on 3rd load (bed sheets, duvets etc all need doing off DS2s bed aswell as normal stuff) see if I can get some of it at least line dried.

    Weekend list for me

    [STRIKE]Saturday Dailies[/STRIKE]
    Sunday Dailies
[strike]Sort through fridge and what needs freezing from farm shop order etc[/strike]
Meal plans & shopping list (very small hopefully)
Tidy kitchen (after he moves his 'stuff' which could be tomorrow)
[STRIKE] Find somewhere high up to keep money etc
Decide if I'm going to order a veg box from a local delivery I've found [/STRIKE]
[strike]Laundry inc DS2 bed linen washed and dried[/strike]
    [STRIKE]Remake DS2s bed[/STRIKE]
Study time (as much as possible)
    [STRIKE]Hot spot clear [/STRIKE]
    Shoe and coats sort
[STRIKE]Books back on shelving unit (if DP remembers to fasten it to the wall)[/STRIKE] supposedly the drill bit has snapped
Gardening, weather permitting what gets done
    Sort through one junk box
    Sort through bathroom toiletries
Drawers sort through in PC room
Clear space in bottom of cupboard (in boys room) to put a set of drawers in
One day I might be more organised...........

    Morning all

Three loads of washing on the line, including the throws from the living room.

Did one last bit of tidying in the garage. I was thinking about a crate in there while I was at work last night and as I hoped I managed to get another bagful of stuff in the crate. We got our new car this morning, at last, so we can get it safely put away.

Not doing much else today, I never do at weekends!

    Hi All

Am back (via work computer) after a few days absence (which no-one noticed, boo woo!!) Our blooming internet at home has packed up, bt done tests on the line but now need to check at the exchange, funnily not had any mention of a refund due to loss of service.

Been plodding along with the flying. Thursday took DD1 to get a manicure as she had been so good all week. DD2 sat on my lap and watched, didnt book her in as did not think she would sit still that long, but she got her nails painted by the lady so was happy. DD1 bites her nails really badly so thought this may encourage her not too, especially as she had barbie pink nail varnish applied to her bitten down stumps. We then took a picnic lunch to the park for a couple of hours.

Upon returning home my angelic DD1 of the last week turned into phsyco kid from hell. Screaming, even bit her sister. She did chose some sweeties from the shop (she chose lovehearts) and I am wondering if it was something in the sweets that sent her over the edge. They dont usually have many sweets and DD2 chose something different. Will have to google the ingredients and see. Sorry to see so many others having littles with "meltdowns" too. DD2 has been a little star though.

Anyway, have left list of jobs for DH to do. Lawns need doing back and front and general S & S. Littles are at nannies for weekend (going to try 2 or 3 nights)

Have just checked on-line and the pics from last weekends fairyschool are up of the girls. They are all really really nice, this could cost me a fortune - but I think most of the xmas pressies may have been sorted for nannies, grampies, aunties etc.

Right off to do meal plan for next week.

Off round to my mates again tonight  Only this time I will eat slightly more food and maybe have a nap this afternoon so I'm not so tired. Much more fun without kids or baby about :rotfl: Soooo... I've done a wash load to go out (where does it all come from? I finished the washing yesterday and yet I still ended up with a full load this morning  ), I'll do the dishes after my tea as it's not worth filling the sink up yet (Thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it :p ) and I'm going to blast music on the computer and play internet games as I can't go outside in the sun too much as I'm already looking like a lobster :rotfl::rotfl: Right, washing to go out

  • This just sums up my mental state at the moment. I went to post my sisters birthday card, and instead of putting it in the post box, I put it into the bin. Typically it was one of those bins that has only a small slot on it so there was no way I was going to put my hand in and rumage around to try and find it !!

Maybe I should go back to bed.

    Morning folks,
Back from a morning at work and it looks like things are back to normal which is a good sign for next week. So relieved.
Sexymouse, that's intriguing about the reference.. remember to tell us when you know! Could be the first case of Positive Identity Theft, pretending to be you and getting you a new job!
    Hurrah for Pollybears new car!
Shell, I did notice you missing but I forget who's on their hols each week. I assumed you were away. ( Warm and sunny with a cool glass by the pool if you like!) Re Lovehearts..YES! We had a load of those kind of sweets brought to work and I was like a woman possessed in the evening after Lovehearts. Parma Violets made me mellow and spacey. In a little one the effects are probably quite noticable.
Nicki, you sound like you're having a good catch up weekend. And all those baths..fantastic indulgence. Enjoy today.

In no particular order I'd like to see the back of some of the following this weekend..
    Fill the gaps round catflap
    Reverse freezer door
Paint bathroom skirting where I bodged
Get screws and refix those carpet bar thingys between rooms
Get new long poled windowsqueeqy from £savelandstretcher place
Get car tax quotes meant Insurance
    BM
Pot on a million baby Aloes and find homes for them
    Order Bro's b.day prezzie
    Ditch more old photos

Off to make a move, TTFN.

PS It's raining here you lucky B's with sunshine..
