You haven't answered any of the questions asked of you.
But as you're still suffering its too early to claim.
A good cure for night sweats is a lighter duvet or cooler bedroom.0 -
I think one of the questions you get asked when looking for car insurance quotes is have you made a personal injury claim. I'm assuming that people with a pattern of such claims will have a higher premium.0

MPs are trying to cut down on spurious injury claims. Apparently, night sweats is the second most common injury after whiplash. A lot of these "crash for cash" mobs are faking night sweats all over the country....Je suis sabot...0

You could sign your life away in that person's form and take the money but it wouldn't prevent you from receiving damages in a genuine personal injury claim. It's another myth alongside never apologise coz it'll be all your fault if you do.0 -
If you are injured, seek advice from a solicitor.
Coming on here is just going to get the reaction you have already seen. Most people are quick to trot out the headlines they can recall from the press (fed to them by the insurance industry). Nobody likes injury lawyers, until they need one and most of the protagonists who harp on would soon see some action themselves, if it happened to them.0 -

+1. The OP should check whether they have legal expenses cover with their car or house insurance as this may cover it (though some may have exclusions if you were driving the car or owner of the car).
Having just gone through the experience of being slammed into broadside by a drunk van driver (3x the limit) at high speed, I just want to add to the debate that compensation isn't just about how much money you lost because of the accident. Sure there are some money-grubbing ambulance chasers, but not everyone who seeks financial restitution for a no-fault accident is simply trying to scam the system.(Nearly) dunroving0 -

Financial restitution for what though?
If you have been in an accident thats not your fault, then you shouldnt be out of pocket for repairing the car, insurance sorts that.
If injury prevents work and causes loss of earnings, it's understandable to claim that loss back.
but i think what riles people is the claiming for the sake of it, when no financial loss has been caused. The reason being is that the money has to come from somewhere, that somewhere being everybody's premiums. We all moan that premiums are too high, but they are set that way to cover the outlays of the insurance companies before they make their profits. "But they could reduce their profits." they could, as could individuals profiting from an accident that wont cost them anything financially. It's swings and roundabouts, which is why i think it annoys people that the way the original post appeared didnt mention any injuries that had been caused, just whether to claim or not.0
