yup no win no fee , get you £75 , but stitch the other side up for £20000 costs , which they keep
"we have won Mr Smith , there's your cheque for £75" , ps will you do a TV advert for us ?0 -
Go for the deluxe 'whiplash'...“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Not saying the taxi driver would, but is there any wonder people change their stories when even the lightest bump nowadays risks an injury claim? Fair enough if ops injured, but if she was then i'd have thought it would have been mentioned in the original query. Taxi driver probably just trying to protect his already sky high insurance premiums by offering to pay.0

Contact National Accident (the advert that Joe Pasquale does the voice over for the underdog). You will get sound advice from them. I have used them two or three times in the past and there is no pressure from them and had great results each time and yes, even if you weren't injured you may develop some pain symptoms over the coming few days. Even if you contact these people and you say you are not injured if you start to develop pain in later days you can still put it down on record. At the very least make an appt. to see your G.P. if you feel the slightest twinge, it pumps up the compo a bit.

Sound advice from National accident? Thats the best thing i've heard in a long time0 -

Oh - it'll be sound advice alright
On how to maximise their profit !0 -
Treat others the way you want to be treated. If you act dishonestly to extort money from someone (companies included) don't be upset when someone does the same to you later in life.
Only claim for injuries if you are genuinely injured. All your base are belong to us.0 -
What interests me is that when I was a lad I had the impression of a solicitor as someone who was an upstanding professional honest person. Now my impression is exactly the opposite.0

That's not to say if you're really injured, you should be claiming.
My take exactly. Has your "injury" cost you any money? you self employed and losing earnings for example?
This is where, for me, this claim culture needs to be regulated. Im sure most people who need time off work for an injury get sick pay.0 -

Well I've found them to be very good and on a no win no fee basis, better than the so called legal cover depts that I have previously used with my insurance who I thought were poor in comparison.0
