Parking Eye, Scotland question.

Hello,
I've read the sticky that says if you are in Scotland, just ignore.
Can I ask what happens next if I do ignore? Or do I need to do anything, like write to say anything like the letter for England?
Will they start sending threatening letters or take me to court?
I've had a look at the sticky but most of it was about England, and I could only see the bit that says ignore and also for newbies not to write and ask questions on that thread.
So I hope I've wrote this in the correct place. Please let me know if not.
Thanks.

Does your paperwork mention the Protection of Freedoms Act ? Was the Letter addressed to the RK in Scotland ? Was the car park in Scotland ?0

"Complain to the retail park and Store Managers though to get the dogs called off as PE are not a nice bunch to deal with, even if ignoring them in Scotland. "
This was copied from a thread I was reading about it and I got even more worried. What does it mean when they say they are not a nice bunch to deal with? What will happen...could they send 'the heavies' round or anything similar? Or people to take my things to pay for it?
Bit worried...as I cant see the shop cancelling the ticket/request for payment.
Thanks in advance.0 -

Was the Letter addressed to the RK in Scotland ? Yes, me.
Was the car park in Scotland ?Yes.
See answers above, I hope I've done it right...0 -
No PPC has ever done court in Scotland. (UKPC tried then quickly withdrew when they realised they were going to get spanked).
In Scotland a PPC can only pursue the driver ... they cannot pursue a registered keeper. And no - they won't EVER be sending round the "heavies" - they can't. (They'd need to take you to court, win, you not pay the judgment, they apply for a high court enforcement [or Scottish equivalent] and THEN the bailiffs could come round. You really think they'd try that against a registered keeper in Scotland, where they'd have no chance of winning a defended claim?)0 -

30,309 court papers issued in England and Wales from 1/1/2014 to 31/12/2014. How nice a bunch do you want to deal with?
But - the one big difference in your case? Geography!!
Make no contact with a PPC in Scotland. They will huff and puff, which will get louder, before they give up - as long as you do not contact them? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes , I'm interested to see if they have mentioned POFA and the exact wording0 -
So long as you don't contact them and identify the driver, there is next to nothing PE can do other than send you a number of threatening letters over a period of a few months.
If you check the pre-pofa letter chain thread, you will get a fair idea of the rubbish they and their fake "debt collectors" will send. Simply file and forget, unless you do actually get properly issued court papers but don't hold your breath for that to happen.
Also, TBH it is much the same even if you have identified the driver - the chances of any meaningful action are very slim indeed.0 -

So technically I'm still right ... it hasn't gone to court yet.

(I somewhat suspect VCS will pull out of the cases before the hearing dates - the same as UKPC did).0 -
