Is this John Lewis direct by any chance? Sounds like they are being very petty! xGone ... or have I?0 -
Is the ethic of this site not to share money saving advice / tips? If there is an opportunity to save £56 quite legally, should it not be taken?
Yes, this is a money saving site. Sadly, a number of people on here are more concerned with saving a few quid to consider the morality of their actions.0 -
Not being funny, but doesn't the "never knowingly undersold" John Lewis promise apply here?0
-
Doesn't apply to their own products, or to their online products.Gone ... or have I?0

Its the same with supermarkets, if tesco had some lager on offer at £10 and you bought 2 and 6(in this time youve drunk a case and a half) days later the price was £5 you wont go to mr tesco and say you want the difference back
its life to b honest
same with petrol 1 week is 95.9 and the next week its 89.9 you wont got to claim the difference back will youNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
Did you buy this online or in a branch? If you bought online you're not entitled to anything, but if you bought in a branch then this applies:
http://www.johnlewis.com/jl_assets/pdf/nku_jl.pdfFind the same item selling for less in any UK
shop, and we will refund the difference.
As we do not wish you to regret buying from us,
we allow you up to 28 days from the date of
purchase to claim this refund.
Any UK shop. This includes other branches of John Lewis. Try again and quoute this leaflet at them. If they still refuse, write a letter to customer services at head office and name and shame the person who refused you the refund.0 -
This is a bit juvenile isn't it
Kindly explain as to why for me0
