    1) why the heck should they email you asking for their image to be removed?

did you have the decency to email them to politely ask before you jacked their image?

    2) You've had more than one listing pulled because of image theft and you still preach about it being OK? GOD HELP YOU!

Hijacking is whats done to airplanes. Using someoneelses pic of an xbox 360 or dvd or whatever it is, is saving me time.

Yes, maybe a couple have been pulled out of 1500 or so listings ive made, of which probably a hundred were other peoples pics.

God Help Me? i think there are a VAST amount of worse things happening on ebay, in this country and in the WORLD, that maybe you should be asking Gods help for.

Keep it in perspective guys, you've taken your pic, listed your item, sold it, got you money. So what if someone else uses the pic?

    Photogenic
I admit I sort of did this once when I did not have access to a camera, I found a suitable piccie, downloaded it onto my computer, I used irfanview to change the background colour and to reverse the image. Then hosted it on my photobucket or villagephotos account.

Should I turn myself in for re-education now or just have an accident cleaning my trusty service revolver?

The original question has now been answered and it has been pointed out that ebay do not allow users to take photos from other users,I will therefore close the thread.
