    Yes I am on the electoral role and have been at the same address for years. As I said I have not had a problem with electronic ID checks with any other bank/building society.
    Looks like they don't want my money.

    As this is a variable account, does anyone know if Clydesdale / Yorkshire have to write to their members telling them that the interest rate is coming down or is it up to the member to check the rates on their web sites?

    I know that they have to give 60 day notice before they change it.
