The prize stated .....tickets to the French Open and overnight stay in Paris....it was.....Eurostar to Paris, 2 nights in hotel where lots of the players were staying right by the Eiffel Tower , courtside private box with all the hospitality you can imagine, private transfers to and from Roland Garros......and we saw Nadal and Sharapova play.....

I have won 2 overseas holidays but it was a long time ago.
2001 won a week's holiday in Malta (I was given permission to give holiday to a relative because I had used my entitlement for the year) from Teletext holidays.
2002 Won a 5 star weekend in Amsterdam - can't remember who from!
Nothing since but I keep trying and hoping.0 -
I won a holiday to Nova Scotia last year it was brilliant and was able to choose own itinerary and was able to add an extra night at own cost. All accommodation was fantastic.0

Within a few weeks of comping I won a family holiday to Turkey, terms did say flying from Manchester or Gatwick but they booked it up for me from Glasgow in first week of school hols - something I can never afford to do! Good time was had by all.
A weekend away to a lighthouse keepers cottage in Aberdeenshire, with travel and spending money included courtesy of Visit Scotland.
A trip to Berlin to see Bruno Mars, again flights and spends included.
Just need to win one for this year now.0 -
I won a week in a holiday cottage in Wales before I started comping properly, was really lovely and had 2 big hampers of food and drink waiting on the table when we arrived.Won in 2015 - £100 amazon voucher, bearhug desk0

Not a holiday, but I did win some flights. I took my Mom to Dubai last weekend with them as a mothers day treat.
The holiday comps are always the ones which get me excited the most, but I always have to check when they can be taken by. Imagine I won a holiday and couldn't take it as I had used up all my annual leave or something!0 -
Where was it to? How long for? Did you go? What was your experience like?
I would love to win a holiday for my parents. Not sure if they'd let you send family members in your place though!
Hi Pickles, I don't think you're allowed to transfer the holiday, that's what is states in most of the T&Cs.
I've won 2 holidays. One was a fly drive to anywhere in the USA, we went to Hawaii for 7 nights. It was absolutely fantastic & I'd do it all again, despite having jet lag for months after.
The 2nd was a week in Fort Lauderdale Florida, not on my bucket list but again we had a great time.
Good luck, hope you get your wish soon

I wrote a post this morning that was all
never won a holiday or trip away and I deleted it - I enjoyed reading this thread so much, it didn't need my gloomy face on it.
This afternoon I got a WEM saying I had won a 2 night luxury hotel and spa break! I know! In all my years of comping I have never won anything remotely resembling a hollybob (well I won a voucher for a ferry crossing once but I am choosing not to count that
).
Isn't the Universe a funny thing? Very happy right now. Sure enough I'd love a foreign holiday but this works out at over £500 of loveliness. Reet chuffed I am.Comps £2016 in 2016 - 1 wins = £530 26.2%
SEALED POT CHALLENGE MEMBER No. 428 2015 - £210.930 -
