DD thought it was straightforward enough, a similar standard to some of the recent past papers she's been doing. She said there was nothing on it she couldn't do - sounds positive!
    What did everyone else think?x
  • My DD came out and said it was easier than what they had been doing in school. She had 6 minutes to recheck it but I don't think she changed anything. Thank goodness no.1 is over and I can have a much needed glass of wine tonight!
  • My ds said it was medium lol
  • My wee man though maths was easy and English tougher but he hates English lol. He said he had 10 mins to spare and changed 3 of his maths answers he was able to tell me the questions and thank god he got them right. I'm just glad he came out with a smile on his face

Son did the test today, he cannot remember the exact question, there was a tricky one regarding the selection of "swam" or "swum" and "swimmed"

Nasty question, not going into detail but that's a hard question for anyone.

Anyone know the exact question, possible two ?
  • My son thought English tough but he's not keen on English - don't even want to know what he wrote for that swimming question!!!!!!

The only question he told me was one about scale ie 2cm=6.5metres, what does 4cm equal?
  • My son found the Maths to be straightforward but found the literacy components difficult.

I could sleep for a week!
  • I'm just enjoying a nice LARGE glass of wine :T

Hi everyone just been reading through some of the comments on here. My son sat his 1St paper yesterday like many others. I'm really panicking because he doesn't always get the papers finished on time. If he gets approximately 65% in each paper does anyone know roughly what mark he would get overall please??
I've no idea how this all works :-(
