After reading your reply I telephoned the AQE office and they said I could call in and purchase some papers so that's great! Feels like the house is coming down with papers. Should we be doing one per day? After homework this can be a struggle!!0

To be honest with Homework and afterschool we could not do 1 paper a day I really think it would be too much we are doing 3-4 per week .~We are all going to hell and guess who Is driving the bus~*Norn Iron club Member 294* (Hi, we’ve had to remove part of your signature. I would definitely not recommend one paper per day - that would be too much for any child whilst they are going to school 5 days/week and have homeworks to do as well. My kids were doing 2 tests per week in P7 in school and 1 test per week at home at the weekend (usually on a Sunday morning) - personally, I think that's loads. I know that both my kids were fed up looking at practice tests & I was concerned about burning them out too soon. It's hard to get it right but I would caution against too many tests. You could do other pieces of work or concentrate on reinforcement of any areas they find tricky.0 -

totally agree that one paper every day is too much. If you want to do something everyday keep it low key - I would lift a recent paper and go over a few of the bits that DS has got wrong or stuff I know he struggles with.0 -

Good advice. last thing we need is burn out at this stage. Just trying to keep them focused and happy!!0

Hi I would agree that a paper a day is probably too much. My DD does two papers a week in class and one at home on a Saturday morning. However, we do some exercises every night from the CEA revision books. These usually take around 20 mins on top of homework. X0
