hi,any update yet?
The assessor was scheduled to assess the work and sign it off yesterday but was unable to attend and has re-booked for Monday to go out to it and sign or not sign it off, I was told if it doesn't get signed off, the Vehicle will be moved to over to a main dealer body shop, courtesy collected £75 excess refunded, and Nationwide to pick up the tab for repair at the main dealers and a hire car or courtesy car to be issued.0 -
Just had a call from the manager at nationwide, assessor is not available now until Thursday apparently.0

Assessor has called, He confirms that he is happy with the level of repair now.
He said it all boils down to me when I receive the car back as my appraisal is final but from his end the repair is much better from what it was and is happy now to sign it off they still have the stone chip guards to put on as he wanted them left off the car to view the paint completely and they have to organize for them to be re-installed, I should have the car delivered back to me tomorrow and will call me back Monday afternoon to give me the weekend to look over it and examine it.0 -
The saga continues.
friday afternoon after no contact for time of delivery I called them, "decals were ordered, but had not com in that morning but the courier has them onboard they will be with us this afternoon, youll have your car back Monday at the latest.
Well after a call form me this morning asking for a delivery time as I was busy today, I got no definitive, was told car is completed, and that they will call by 2pm to confirm delivery slot. 2pm came and went, so called again to be told defo this afternoon, 5pm I get a call sorry the decal stickers are not here your car will delivered tomorrow. I hit the roof, I demanded the car back this afternoon, and its enrout as we speak, minus decals, far as I'm, concerned, I'm putting an end to this fiasco right here and right now, they can fit the decals when they get them. I hate being lied to. insurance had another update form me and Nationwides liaison team is to call tomorrow to let me know when the decals are being fitted, I want excess back and told the manager this at Newport who got all shirty with me and rude and basically told me no.0 -
The excess won't be anything to do with Nationwide.0
