The house is conspiring against our attempts to make it nicer and my attempts to own it outright! Fast on the back of the fridge going to the great refrigerator in the sky, our downstairs toilet has sprung a leak (fortunately clean water) and now a valve has failed on our water tank. Water everywhere including a tremendous water stain on the ceiling of my freshly painted kitchen!!!!
Anyway 33p Tilly tidied this morning taking the monthly total to £12.64 (i only started on the 6th too so doesn't include 5 days). £3.40 arrived in my paypal account from quidco yesterday so i immediately OP's it alongside the £30 from energy cachback club.
So at home waiting for plumber (fortunately our plumber was my best man so every cloud an all that...), and trying to clean up. Which will be challenging when you have no water!! I might take the opportunity to sort out the garage (dumping place from sorting the house out) and do a tip & charity run. Oh yes i also need to fix the washing line as Mrs SJ overdid it with towels and it collapsed!!
Last horror (and probably the worst) is that we've run out of tea bags! And as everyone knows despite any chaos around us a nice cup of tea will soothe all troubles!
Definite last thing is the hamster cage remains at £11.70 with 1 day to go, and we've received most of our Santander stuff, just waiting on the last code to access online banking.
Back later...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

News up date...
The fridge has withdrawn from the light and is back at full strength! The washing line is repaired but empty given lack of water to wash and impending rain! Plumber is working hard and will be finished in an hour!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
