  • Choccie - to begin with i'll just be paying off in fully every month, as i'm ultra cautious not to forget things and end up mis-calculating. I suppose once i've started i may get more adventurous once i start seeing the cashback add up though!

    me too :D

I just set up a dd from the offsetting account I have the money in to pay it off (getting 3% interest) for the min payment each month.

    One to think about ;)

£34 spent in the Vets for booster and worming stuff. Schnauzers are harxly little dogs and 1 visit a year I can cope with!

Filled up with fuel for £30 and am now in soft play so £6-8 spent once we finished with drinks and stuff. Sun is now shining so regret not going the park , but we'll do that later.

Then I've got some pictures and clock and a mirror to mount in kitchen and touch up a bit of the white. Trying hard to get all jobs done so this weekend icam do absolutely nothing (until Mrs SJ's list is revealed!).

60p Tilly tidied this morning. It's now over £12 with 13 days to go so may get to £30.

    Enjoy Tuesday!

Oh something to add. After looking after our nieces hamster and realising our dog isn't the slightest bit bothered we are now bidding on hamster cages. The ones with those plastic tubes and tunnels. The decision we need to make is what is an appropriate amount to spend from our PayPal fund? Current thoughts are £15-£20.

Well the cage we are watching is at £11.60 with 4 days to go. One end last night with no bids but started at £20. I suspect the fact it was pick up only affected bids, whereas the one we have our eye on has postage of £3.80. So think pur Max bid will be £20.10.

Long day in work today, so after a spemdy day yesterday today will be NSD.

£1 Tilly tidied this morning. Just 6 days to payday, but still 13 till accounts posting!!

6p Tilly tidied this morning, and aftrr a long run of £1's I'm slightly disappointed!! Pleased to see £30 csshback has landed in current account from the energy csshback club thing, so that will shortly be winging its merry way to the mortgage. That's 4 days worth of interest in one swoop!

I checked out quidco account last night and theres £6.65 waiting to be paid which will be added straight to mortgage. Then there's £87.50 been tracked and expected in September.

All in all I'll definitely be done with the 130k's sometime during September, which works out at over £1k reduction per month since our remortgage and start of this diary.

A nice thought to start the day!

I'm a bit behind on other people's diaries with my decorating exploits and a long few days in work, but I have a full weekend off. So with rain expected the inside of the fence won't get painted and I can catch up properly!!

i just cant get over the progress you can make without massive effect on weekly and monthly activities. Not wasting money is amazing! If i'm honest i reckon we could easily make another £100-£150 per month but Mrs SJ would probably explode!!

If we can keep to it though i'm definitely hoping to accelerate payments once we get to 2022, and try and eradicate it even eariler. With an end in sight i'm sure i can convince Mrs SJ that the kids don't need anymore shoes, birthdays or toys...!!!!
