I did find an extra 5p on the floor by the till in the hospital shop, but i resisted temptation of my own pocket and placed it in the charity jar by the till!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1 -
Theres something relaxing about having a cup of tea sat outside!!
Just watching the boys on the bouncy castle in the garden with a brew and dog at your feet. Shame I have to ruin it by going to work in 30 mins.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

Pet insurance ended up the same as last year plus £40 cash back. No prizes for guessing the place the cash back will eventually settle inMFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Talking of doggie hair cuts...I've just invested in dog clippers at £43 for my 2 as the grooming costs are now £102 for both of them each time
Goodness knows what they'll look like after the first attempt, but hey, I remember the embarrassment of a pudding bowl haircut so if I can go through that, the doggy-world can too
Pet Insurance is a good point, mine aren't insured for medical bills at the mo - did so for early years and will do for later years. Who did you go with for the cashback - I ought to start looking for Springy as he's 6 now.
On the comparing to 'standard' payments, if you've got Locoblade's spreadsheet, there's sheets for a second mortgage and one for both side by side, so could use that.Back on the DFW Wagon:

There's no chance i'd cut my own dogs. Especially as they have distinctive beards and eye brows. I'll budget for the £22 4 times per year!
This time i've gone for More Than, but last time it was RAC. I've always had insurance just in case he breaks a leg for example. I claimed twice for my last dog, once was to have a lump removed and analysed (thankfully it was nothing as he was only 2), then when he was 12 and we found a huge growth on his stomach. It eventually got him but the insurance paid for blood tests, medicine to slow it etc... We didn't prolong him, just made him more comfortable until the time was right to say goodbye when his pain started.
So i suppose its a piece of mind thing in case of an accident given he's forever jumping off stuff he shouldn't etc...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Well quick update. NSD today, £1 Tilly Tidied making a total of £7.28 so far which isn't bad for 9 days! This is gonna prove fruitful and i am really confident of a £500 OP total for the August, which would give me a £966 monthly reduction.
All is well with the SJ MF quest!
In unfortunate news i came home from work tonight to find 4 tubs of paint in the kitchen, therefore kitchen decoration this weekend is looking more and more real...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

DFOD :rotfl: at the image you have!
Hmm, I'm a tad worried now what mine will look like  :rotfl: Springy should be fairly straight forward, I already trim his feathers. Labradoodle might be interesting, though I'll hand trim her anyway when she gets to looking like a sheep
That linkie didn't work SJ - but saw miniature schnauzer in the code. Edit - it does now! Aww how cute.Back on the DFW Wagon:
