What's your daily interest now? I know that a £450 OP each month reduces it by 5p.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

tbh I don't know for sure. I know it's over £10 a day which is sickening lol. I might be too afraid to work it out exactly.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -
I was devastated when I first worked it out. It was about £16 and when I told Mrs SJ she nearly threw up! From that day forward daily interest has been a major motivating factor for our house.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Tilly tidied another whole £1 today. So far my new tactic has seen tidying amounts of 78p and then a £1 three times. So may need to re-evaluate my tactic. I'll monitor it for the rest of the month and then see how its looking.
Finally made a start on my dreaded fence. So after attacking the front borders whilst the overnight rain dried, I painted the front side of the fence (finally)!

Coming out of lurkdom to confess I've been following your journey - love all your stats and am similar (and need to put some on my MFW diary as they've been on my DFW for the last 17 months).
You did better then me on the fence - I've 5.5 panels left to do, but did 18 earlier in the year so that's my excuse for delaying the remaining ones :rotfl:
Those daily TTs are going to add up quickly too!Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020

Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Hi SJ,
Finally succumbed and made a payment house to colour in....It was about £16 and when I told Mrs SJ she nearly threw up! From that day forward daily interest has been a major motivating factor for our house.
We're now "down" to £16.34 per dayThe plan is to get it to £15.xx by the end of this year.
If we get a decent remortgage rate at the end of 2016, we'll hopefully be much closer to your daily rate.... one can hope.

Ali-Ok - welcome to my humble little world. I too lurked but took the plunge in March with my own diary and i've found it such a help in staying motivated, especially when people pop in and say howdy .
As for the fence i need to tackle the inside next but with our garden position the outside takes more hammer through the year so its less of a priority. This weekend i'll be tackling the kitchen which is long overdue, and i've packed Mrs SJ, the kids and her mum off to the caravan for a few nights whilst i'll get it done!! I'm sick of decorating now :wall:, but only 2 big rooms and a nursery to do. The plan is kitchen this week, then living room in September and the nursery in November (I'll be in Australia with work for 3 weeks in October so that months a right off).
MiB - £28!! How did you sleep?!?!
In money news i've OP's £15 this morning courtesy of Halifax rewards, and the now regular £1 of Tilly Tidy is in my everyday saver holding account :j.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
