It is. But with small accounts I've started to put them into an online saver as a holding pot, before a collective OP at the end of the month.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

I average £5 a month from change that's 20p or less (I do raid Mrs SJ's purse every now and again!!). It's amazing how it all adds up.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

ATB the weather was just about right and we're all shattered!! Managed 15,454 steps so far! DS1 is like a zombie, DS2 is in the bath, mini schnauzer just keep sighing and counting down the minutes till they're all in bed so i can!
To crown the day it was a NSD too as the boys were too tired to go the ice cream van as it was the opposite direction to the car. Instead they opted for a cereal bar, a squeezy yoghurt and a box of raisins in the car! I was secretly gutted at my missing Mr WhippyMFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
That made me tired reading that!
I like the £1 tillytidy tactic! As you say, expensive, but effective!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

As expected our current account had a round number so I've Tilly tidied a whole £1 - if this carries on I'll need to budget for tidies!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

My small change jar is now at £5 so I'll cash that in at work for a crisp £5 note and then transfer the same amount to mortgage. Also expecting Halifax rewards tomorrow so that's another £15. With new Tilly tidy technique it feels like I'm flying at the moment!!
Alongside Mrs SJ's pay rise in confident of getting to £500 OP this month!
Oh and I managed 13,159 steps too.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1 -
Nothing really doing money wise today. I Tilly tidied another whole £1 this morning.
I'm finally going to get that fence painted this weekend with tomorrow morning the favoured time slot!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......1
