Take it easy on yourself SJ! Being with the kids all the time is hard. I insist on one hour in the evening for ME! They know I'm a better Mummy if I have that chill time. I don't always get it, but it helps!

I've also decided to us this time to explore some different job roles for future. There is a chance that my job may go, or be severly altered. And I may not want to do it, so taking this an opportunity to think about a possible different direction for the next 15yrs of my working career. Where to start exploring, that is the main issue!
Maybe this niggling thing was my issue yesterday, but I'd sooner blame it on the kids!!!!

SJ, home schooling is HARD. I am calling it crisis schooling instead 😆. I teach year 10 onwards, but trying to fathom what my kids are doing in years 1&3 is perplexing to me. I think coupled with the fact everyone is at home, altogether, 24/7, we are going to have good, bad and downright difficult days.I missed a whole year of primary school for various reasons and I've turned out clever enough to be deemed suitable to teach teenagers🤣10

also home schooling to us regular home schoolies is nothing like this. We don’t stay cooped up in houses seeing no one. It feels a bit like a pressure cooker sometimes at the mo.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Normal service has resumed... 'Crisis' schooling is back in full flight and I'm back to my usual self! Yesterday was great, and rounded off with a gentle 3 mile run to start the week off. This morning is maths, then English and this afternoon is a VE day lesson prepared by school, and will lead into colouring in some flags and making bunting ready for Friday.
I had a search around yesterday to get the 'feel' for job advertisements and so on. I'm assuming its not a normal job market at the minute, but I got a flavour for where to look etc... I'm also conscious that we probbaly won't have a normal job market anyway for a while. Had the conversation with Mrs SJ last night and told her the simple solution is for her to get a promotion to double her wage and that I can become a kept man, who can potter about doing 12hrs a week delivering for Amazon to get some beer money! She was having none of it, but I'll leave the thought stewing for a few days and come back to it...
17p TT for today, and the pot is small so far this week. Less than £1 for 3 days.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......10 -

Up and at it this morning. It seems like today is the proper start of the dreaded 6 weeks of hayfever
Where I work is pretty horrendous for the tree pollen that hammers me, so I'm hoping that this year and not being in work I may not get hit as badly as usual.
45p TT this morning and just finishing my brew before heading out with pooch for a walk before schooling starts. We did a VE day lesson yesterday afternoon so this morning we will be preparing posters, flags and bunting.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......7
