Well we can add DD, Mrs SJ and SJ himself to the ill list in our house... Think we need a red cross painting on the front door! Mrs SJ is off with it, I've pushed through a bit and went in this morning. Come home for the afternoon before going back this evening. Wednesdays are usually a 11-12hr day, but I have no chance of that today.
And to add to it I had my 2nd MMR jab on Friday with my flu jab (asthma sufferer) and oh have I got am itchy rash from it! So all in all its proving to be a long week, but enough of the whining...A nice round £1 TT this morning :j.
House insurance is due and the re quote has only gone up by £1.08 so I think we'll leave it with same supplier.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Hope you all can get through the lurgy as quickly as possible - pushing on through doesn't *always* work.

You are quite right. It got the better of me this afternoon and I haven't gone back. Cant remember when I was last off work sick... I remember having mumps in 2004 and having a week off then. After that I think I've missed the odd day, but that would be less than 5 days. With the way I'm feeling I think that'll be me done for the week as well. Currently counting down each 30mins period until we can all go to bed. All 5 of us have been snoozing most of the afternoon.
I'm obviously getting old, and soft!!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -

Oh yes indeed. I would have been great you are back, they are all yours see you in a few hours I'm out of here! Having said that the offspring must have been very good whilst you were away. & 3 whole days - she comes in at superstar level.0 -
I'm under no illusions that the only reason I was given 3 bonus days was because of the job interview!
50p TT made today, train tickets booked for conference in London during December and broadband switch sorted. I went into work this morning 9-12, then popped home for 30mins on my way to a 1-2 meeting. Far too soon to be in work. I ended up asleep on the living room floor 2.30-4, then in bed 4.45-6.30!! We've since had a letter off public health through school about the bug that we've all picked up and basically saying stay away from civilisation for a week. Its day 5 for DS1, day 4 for DS2 & Mrs SJ and day 3 for DD and me, so we're some way off having a healthy household just yet.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
