Day 12 negotiated... Have to confess that i cheated a bit yesterday as i'd run out of steam at lunchtime. The thought of an 11 hour day was too daunting, so i went home for 2 hours in the afternoon!

Anyway day off today thankfully. Unfortunately i have a funeral to attend in the morning, but will only be going to church/crem as close families only for the wake.

I made a 38p TT this morning to go alongside a £1 TT yesterday. I need to spend some time this evening catching up with current account transactions as i've been a bit slack in the last few weeks. So although our accounts look a bit anaemic I'm sure its no as bad as it looks.Plus its payday on Friday and i'll get a big chunk of cash from my expenses.

AFK - everything seems to come at the same time and conspire against us doesn't it. Following on from the car we have microwave and dishwasher acting up, out downstair toilet is making some bizarre noises and then all those pesky kids seems to grow out of clothes and shoes at the same time! I'm just glad i managed to fix the TV!

Anyway £1 TT made this morning. I was intending to sort current account last night, but i was too mentally jaded for maths, and quizzing Mrs SJ about what she'd been buying. I was also (less then) pleased to see out 6% council tax rise to pay for a 15% drop in services and our bin collections reduce to 3 weekly! 2 weekly for a family of 5 (and we recycle everything that our council enables us to) is doable but the the bin sometimes takes some forcing down in the lid. Have no idea how 3 weekly will be achievable, especially when we miss the day due to family holiday etc... So need to factor these rises into our budget also.

Thats better, i come on here to get away from being shouted at!

57p TT this morning. Account looks ok ahead of payday tomorrow, and has several others have commented I'll be glad to see the back of March moneywise, it seems to have gone on for ever.

Some may recall my work/life balance dilemma's? Well i have taken the first step and arranged a career/life coach session. At this stage i'm excited, but i'm certain anxiety will kick in and a doubt as to whether it will be worth it. But i have nothing to lose, and everything to gain!

Great step with booking the life coach! It's something I've always been intrigued by but never taken the plunge.

Your Tilly tidies must really be adding up this month!

New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!

Kitten - TT's are doing well and i may even hit £20 for the month, which equals 4.75 days worth of interest! As for the life coach, i perform some of those functions at work myself to others. I then try to "coach" myself but its not the same so i thought i'd give it a whirl.

Its 2 weeks off due to Easter so plenty of time to talk myself out of it...but should i go through then i'll report in how i find sitting on the otherside of the room so to speak.

That's a steep council tax rise! :( Ours was 3%, however, I'd quite happily take 3 weekly bin collections... or longer (but there are only 2 of us).

Go for it with the life coach - don't chicken out!
