well debtfree you were right. its glorious in the north west. At least ill get outside for a bit to paint the fences (plans scuppered last weekend due to the rain).

Off to B&Q to pick up bit s decorating paraphernalia. Our food cupboards are full and we only need the basics of bread, milk and yoghurts so the decorating will be sorted from food budgets!

I'm not bothered about multiple posts but i'm giving an update on decorating as it makes me feel like i'm accomplishing!
    • B&Q visit done, stuff bought
    • ceiling done - only needed 1 thick coat as it was done last year
    • Undercoat done on 2 radiators and 2 doors whilst polyfilling dries
    • polyfilling done, but made a mess of 1 huge hole so this will be tactfully covered with a picture!

So off to do first coat on the walls. Its a huge room with lots of fiddly bits though so may take a few hours!

Well quite a productive day so i thought id list it!
    • Mini lie in as kids had sleep over at Nannys
    • Redid the polyfilla bit that id made a mess of, and thankfully in went particularly well
    • Refereed game in the morning - £25 earned
    • Managed second coat on walls (huge room with lots of fiddly alcoves so takes ages)
    • Managed to touch up the bits that needed 3 coats due to colour previously on
    • Undercoated skirting boards (again fiddly and huge)
    • Sold 3 things on ebay and all paid for a profit of £15
    • Relisted 18 items
    • Listed 14 new items

Off till 4pm tomorrow so plenty of time for more tasks:
    • Gloss
    • Clean carpets in both boys bedrooms
    • Post ebay stuff
    • Clean up my decorating mess
    • Mount TV on wall
    • Tuesday job is to clean our carpets and put room back together with new bedding and fittings

Oh, not to forget the most important job for Tuesday which is spreadsheet and post June accounts.

Thanks ATB. A whirlwind few weeks really, but a great present just after Christmas!
Had the following plans for today but failed spectacularly. DS1 had an asthma attack in the night (accumulation of hayfever over the last few days and a horrible hacking cough) so we spent most of the day at A&E. He's totally fine (bored senseless not being in school and missing beavers to be honest) and thankfully given a dose of steroids to blast the cough and mucus build up. So i only managed to gloss the skirting boards and radiators. I did enough to be bale to put the bedroom back together tomorrow, but glossing the doors will have to wait till next week now. So our job list rolls on!
    - Gloss
    - Clean carpets in both boys bedrooms
    - Post ebay stuff
    - Clean up my decorating mess
    - Mount TV on wall

Last day of the month so it's time for spreadsheet update tomorrow and then post our accounts. Its been another good month with a net reduction of £900+!! I'm amazed that we've hit 4 payments of our challenge all ready!

Managed to get the TV mounted and the bedroom put back together this morning, with a good clean along the way. Just need to gloss a door and clean the carpet when I get a chance.

DS1 is definitely on the mend, steroids are amazing! He even managed his school trip today.

I didn't manage to get my accounts and spreadsheet done however, but I will definitely sort that in my lynch break tomorrow. So accounts will be posted by 1pm!

Of to watch a film in our new bedroom on our wall mounted TV!

    Goodnight all.
