A day of dog walks (4 in total), big dinner and a few relative visits, so other than DS1 bedroom not much achieved!

  • Well horrendous day in work! Mentally shattered by home time! Plus i had the dentist thrown in for my broken tooth! Fortunately no major damage and just a filling repair. Unfortunately i didn't get to post office to pay check in so will add that to tomorrows list and nip out of work for a walk.

Am determined to be in bed for 9.30 with some diary catch ups as i'm in need of a MFW fix!

  • Better day in work today thankfully, but still not managed to get out to pay cheque in - damn work keeping me occupied!!

Well the bike has arrived...time will tell how much it gets used!

I managed to get out for a run tonight after 10 days off. No real drop off in fitness so happy with that, though i am struggling with a troublesome right calf. It seems that any hill or slight incline makes it really stiffen up. Its becoming very annoying but i suppose that what comes with age! I keep reminding myself that i'm not 25 anymore!! I'm keeping up with the no watch, no timing, no measuring and no pre planning routes. I'm certain this is helping me to enjoy just being out.

The boys both had a great day back in school which is always a relief! As much as DS1 says he doesn't like school, he actually does but its not cool to say so. DS2 on the other hand says how much he loves it!

  • 79p TT this morning and looking at the current account feeling sorry for itself with just £100 left i wondering when the saviour that us child benefit will rescue us!!

To be fair we've bought concert tickets, dentist check up and something else that has wiped about £150 off our account, but i'm still hopefuly we wont need to dip into savings pots for an account top up.

International football weekend has slowed down my MB, so currently at £60 for the month so far. I can accelerate this again this weekend hopefully.
