5.30 get upper??!! Not sure how long i could last with that shenanigans going on!! Feeling your joy at empty house though. Our boys are currently away with grandparents though only since Monday and they return tonight, so back to constant requests for drinks, snacks, "dad, i've done a poo" and so so and so on and so on...

£1 TT today, so another NSD yesterday. Although Mrs SJ did buy some new gym pants i'll class it as no spend until the day the money comes out the bank account.

Internet is back up and running (looking at the online problems it seemed like Talktalk had virtually a National outage last night). Anyway its back on and the switch to Plusnet has also happened this morning aswell. All working fine as well. Now i need to try and get the cashback off them, which i believe isn't the easiest!! But battle i will for a £50 cheque!

Having popped in on several occasions, I've just read your diary through from the beginning (I have to, I can't cope without the backstory!).

Very impressive achievements and targets - imagine you'll fly past me by Christmas!

We have a 5.30 cat alarm... I'm not overly keen... once our kitchen is finished some training is definitely in order. Glad your dog isn't an early riser!

Thanks for popping in, and i commend you for reading all the diary!!! Our pooch definitely isn't an early riser, in fact he's generally the last to get up, but then gets back in his 2nd bed in the living room. A very lazy little fluffy woofer!

Our dog is an early riser too but not 5.30am early.

Also appears I'm the only parent on here not looking forward to my son spending time away from home. :o

We all miss them when they're gone, and the house definitely doesn't feel normal...but 5mins of peace is bliss!!

72p TT this morning so week progressing nicely on this front. Got a few cashback items tracked (amounts to about £18.50) so that will be a nice addition to the mortgage in 3 months time!

Made some fantastic ebay last night by listing 19 items. The bag was completely emptied and i was feeling rather smug...until Mrs SJ magically produced another 7 items of kids clothes (i said ebay was never ending). Only in work for lunch today so am determined to get them listed. After 3 days in the caravan with grandparents, both boys are shattered so having a lazy morning so i should have time. The sky looks ready to pour down again so i doubt we'll get out on bikes this morning.

Today starts a busy weekend in work and a 6 day period of work. But the golden light at the end of that is a week away in the caravan to finish off the school hols.

I think ATB that once you get going and you get a few sales you see how easy it is, then you you just want it all gone!

Hectic weekend workwise so was shattered by the time i finished last night. A few updates though - 13 items sold for a profit of £29.19, and the majority have paid so i'll package up at lunch and have a walk to post office to get out of office.

Our weekly TT pot ended up at £5.79 so that got dispatched to mortgage and i've re started with a TT of £1. Our bank account is looking decidedly sorry for itself with a mere £51 in there, but we have 5 days till payday so will scrape it. And as ever that means our money is working hard for us!

I had a decent MB weekend and will reckon it all up at lunch (it needs to be a long lunch for ebay and MB spreadsheet) but i'm reckon on about £120 profit.

I've got a short week up until Wednesday and then we're off caravan for a week Thursday-Thursday.

Oh and don't mention teeth and the dentist! I lost the inside half of a tooth on a chocolate eclair yesterday. I never eat those types of sweets (usually anyway), but had 1 when they got passed round at work. I think it must have known i had an appointment booked for 4th Sept! At least i'm not in pain.
