Well I should go away more often as that suggestion to wife about sorting her wardrobe has been done. She's sent me a picture of the charity pile...simply astonishing!!
Some great deals on grouponbut see you like living dangerously re the jewellery :rotfl:
As far Mrs SJ clearing out her wardrobe - Well what can I say - a victim of your own success
Got her eye on your MB winnings for a new wardrobe:rotfl:

Well home to a whirlwind of 3 kids (on my own), being mentally jaded, piles of stuff for charity shop (3 full bags in all but if im honest the wardrobe looks no different, so i dont' know where it was all hidden but i'm not brave enough to say anything), half a dozen things to package and take post office, and a collection needed for the necklace as no one was in to sign for it...grrr...!
Had a relaxing day really so far. A few walks (scooters, stick finding etc...), done a few piles of washing while it was dry, put a few golf bets on for offers. I did consider cleaning the conservatory but couldn't face it as its too big a job!!! I have drunk a lot of tea though!
So gonna nip out when Mrs Sj is home to do the errands then hoping to slot a run in at some stage. After that its feet up, golf on and start looking at offers ready for football season starting tomorrow.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Survived the day, just. Fortunately the weather was fantastic so we spent the bulk of the day outside and the boys even managed to play with water balloons (finally).
Errands done, 3 dig walks done, 15,000 steps done, 28 bets placed for the golf and the early football offers (these will also trigger a further 10 free bets at the weekend!
And with that, slouching watching sport is in store.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
I feel your exhaustion SJ and I only have two kids. I have barely found time to post since the summer holidays started.
You really do seem to have got your momentum back fully it's great to read xMFW

Thanks for the final fee calculator, I find eBay fees quite difficult to work out. I should use it for de-cluttering but find selling things for £25/£50/£75 tedious and not worth the effort.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -

63p TT this morning. I've been slack this week as we've temporarily been overdrawn . I've had a over night conference and lost track of accounts. Anyway all sorted again (expenses reclaimed, money transferred for DS2's birthday etc...).
So i'm up and at it.. A few piles of washing done when everyone else is still in bed (other than the dog but he may as well be as he's curled up in his bed), then going to head out with dog before work. Tonight we're on a date... and heading to cinema (with no kids)!!
Plan is for another family afternoon out tomorrow so just need to decide on where alongside forecast.
Pet insurance is due and we have a re-quote of 26% increase  cheeky bleeders don't deserve our business. 26% on a £9 a month policy. Comparison done for same as last year and £12 cashback so happy enough with that.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
12p TT this morning taking the weekly pot total to £1.75. That has promptly been dispatched to the mortgage, so that equates to a shade over 9hrs of interest!
Mid month financial slump well and truly in action now.
MB has been good for opening football weekend. I'm not too such of profits yet as have a few free bets to use of in todays TV games, but i think it'll be about £70.
As for ebay and the dreaded bag in the corner... Well Mrs SJ has refilled it sorting her wardrobe out so i's guess at there being 25 items that need listing. I'll have a try at those tonight, but if not tonight then will definitely tackle them on Tuesday. We have 11 items finishing today and currently a total of 0 bids, so i'll do the usual relisting job later along with the other 56 unsold ones from midweek.
Capitalising on day off and nice weather today by heading out for a few hours. DS2 is desperate to use his kite so looking to head somewhere on the coast for some wind. Then Sunday lunch, snooze watching the football followed by a run is the remaining duties for the day.
Painting the front door still eludes me though....!! Thursday & Friday if its dry (there i've committed to it now)!MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
