Last nights eBay listings didn't go as planned. Pictures were all taken and ready and then grandparents arrived at 7.30, so kids went from being exhausted from our great day to wild again! Plan B will kick in and I'll have to list on Tuesday instead.

Managed 12,000 steps and a 30min run, though have to confess the run was agony last night. My legs felt dead and I could feel my big Sunday dinner jostling round. But I pushed through and actually felt in rhythm as I was finishing. I definitely think if I'd had a watch on I would have stopped and wrote it off as a bad run, as I had no speed in my legs at all!

The rescue that is child benefit arrives tomorrow ( I can seen it on our pending transactions page) which is perfectly timed as we are down to £41 with 10 days remaining!!

In terms of financials I've just mad a £1 TT this morning, and then I need to complete pet insurance, cancel renewal etc... Also after a fair bit of reading and lots of thinking I've decided not to bother with stoozing (for now anyway). If MB activities dry up I might consider it, but whilst I'm seem to able to make £100 a month for the OP pot I'm happy enough with progress of extra income.

I'll reckon up my spreadsheet in my break and update with how much I've made this weekend, but I'm guessing at £75 ish.

Good luck with the ebay listings and the blood donation! My nan made it to 50 donations before she had to stop due to becoming a walking pharmacy and I'm told on numerous occasions I should do it, do you have to book an appointment to do it nowadays?

Our local donation centre make new donors also have an appointment. Appointments are better than the old walk-in system anyway, as you know roughly how long you will be in there.

The only time our local centre allow walk ins is if you've had a letter from central office saying they urgently need stocks of your blood type - apparently you can then turn up and they will fir you in. Otherwise walk ins are turned away

Well blood donation was the speediest ever. I walked in at 1.48 for my 1.50 appointment and was all completed, fed and watered for 2.14! Its super convenient but donation is actually at our work, but i was kind of gutted that i only lost 30 mins of work!! I was in the first few bookings and i'm glad. There'll definitely be no walk up's in that slot today as it looked rammed when i was leaving.

Super busy 11hr day today. Barely left my desk for most of the day and this is perfectly reflected in me only completing 7,000 steps. Rain is pouring down now so slightly disappointed that i cant go for a run as i love running in the rain! Mrs SJ would kill me if i keeled over in a ditch out running after giving blood!

New router has arrived ready for switch over on Thursday, which reminds me that i really really need to get pooch's insurance renewed tomorrow.

I promised a MB update and i'd underestimated how well it had gone at the weekend (or maybe underestimated how many bets i'd placed). Profit for weekend was £109, and my monthly total for August so far is £382. I had promised to pay 50% of monthly profit up to £100 to mortgage, but in true MFW fashion I've changed my mind... So now gonna pay 50% full stop. I'm pretty confident that i'll find another £18 in 16 days so i'm hopeful of more than a £200 bonus OP for August. Mrs SJ cant complain as I've already bought her a necklace out of August profits!!

Grrr big post just lost! Anyway it basically said 11p TT for this morning, and i have a big project in work that i need to get 70% done today. I've delayed since 1st July and am now running out of time, and i'm usually not a last minute job type person so its been bugging me. I've literally been too busy with other stuff to get it done!

Final few ebay items that sold last week have been paid yesterday so i'll post at lunch today and that may urge me onto list the final pile tonight. I'll walk to post office as well and try and make up for the lack of steps yesterday. Am also definitely going for a run tonight.

  • I've just caught up on your diary (actually, small confession, I started at the start, skipped out a little, tiny bit in the middle and continued from your comeback...will attempt to go back and read once I've caught up on a few others I'm reading through), those are some seriously impressive MB profits!

I had all the MB newbie guides open and ready to go at the start of the year, determined to get into it and then life kinda got in the way :o

A note on your MF in 3 update last month, if it makes you feel any better, I'm at 47.76 on the most recent chart so you're 0.1% ahead of me :rotfl:

If I can keep up the diary checking habit, I'll drop in more often.
