Once again i'm failing to keep up with the diary.... Made some great progress with Christmas in that we're virtually sorted. Carpets and new flooring for hall stairs and landings gets fitted on Wednesday, so Mrs SJ can have her tree sorted on Thrursday/Friday.
Moneywise everything is quiet and so steady and undramatic, which we all like. Managed to get £50.50 cashback for house insurance at the weekend, so that;ll be a nice boost to the OP fund.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
Well done on the cashback and sounds like house is coming along nicely.
I've been MIA on my diary as well, mostly because I have zilch to report until the end of the month! I find myself wishing the days away until the end of the month (payday) and the beginning of the month (OP day) lolTotal Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

Well flooring finally done in hall, so apart from tidying up we're done for 2017, yay!! It looks great and Mrs SJ is made up and likes our house again. Been off today so have got decorations out the loft and built the tree ready for Mrs SJ to dress it with the boys tonight.
I've managed to do financial this afternoon so will post in next 10 mins. We didn't quite OP as much as id hoped but still an impressive amount.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0 -
This was our worst overpayment month for 2016 which is slightly disappointing, but with lots of house work going it hardly surprising. Still i am very pleased with progress, though not pleased with my lack of postings and diary readings!!
