Thanks all. It feels good to be back. The longer i wasn't on the more it was in the back of my mind that i need this to keep us on track. Baby SJ hit us for £1k more of maternity savings than i'd budgetted for e gone and we've been gradually paying it back to our savings. Please to say its now under £100 and will by this months pay.

As ever summer is upon us and i've very much neglected the garden so i'm getting it sorted this weekend. I'm currently on a brew break from powerwashing the patio (its a big area, so very much a 4-6hr job). Im just dreading the cleaning up . I have the brush in cement ready for Sunday to! Then im going to tackle the mountain of baby plastic s**t that has accumulated in our garage.

Ebay listings stand at 116, with 8 having bids on, and i reckon we have another 40-50 listings to put on.

As for MBing, i ended up making £3,450 from June-June! But, and this is the thing that is driving Mrs SJ crackers... I cant bring myself to spend it! I just keep looking at the figure growing in the bank!

    Anyway, brew drunk, patio awaits.

    TT'd 44p this morning!!

The number of Ebay listings you have up puts me to shame...I can barely put up 12 items without feeling fed up :o

£3.450 from MB - that is incredible!! I must get Mr Lou into this ;) Are there any negatives to MBing at all?

Keep up the great work! :T

Patio powerwashed and brushed, and i made a start on the garage by doing the first tip run! So feeling rather smug!

I've updated the first post with some targets for year 3 of the diary. I've basically set a challenge of a net reduction of £1,100 per month as that will get me to magical figure of £99,999 at Christmas. To be honest i reckon I'll fall short by about £600, so ill say it now and you can all hold me to it...

If I miss the target by less than £1k i will make this shortfall up with MB cash

Well just before i head up stairs for a shower i've checked our ebay listings and we currently have 11 items selling out of the 116, and 3 more days of auction to go.

Well i gave myself a limit for £2k for a new car. Its our 2nd car so only for running kids around to school, clubs, parties and then for me to commute to work. Probably do about 6,000 miles a year. I'm going seeing one that's listed at £2,300 today, 41,000 miles on and 5 service stamps from dealership. Mentally i'm prepped to buy it, just have to prep for the haggle!!
