It sounds like your finances are in very good order. Good luck in your effort to pay off your mortgage. A mortgage is typically paid once a month. An easy way to slightly overpay is to do this weekly in addition to the day the mortgage is paid. I liked reading your financial diary. I am slightly overpaying my mortgage and I began doing that two years ago. My mortgage is currently 24,299.

Thanks for popping in maximum, it's people that read and say hello that keeps me posting. I know exactly what you mean about the weekly thing, and I try to make at least 1 OP per week but that's more from a psychotic all approach.

50p TT'd this morning and accounts looking in good shape. I've been somewhat aggrieved that my TT account won't hit £20 this month, but I have a plan to round up to it. Yesterday I used up 10p & 20p's from my small change jar to pay for eBay postage, and I'll use that postage money in PayPal to round up!

I've also recently changed from an android box to a fire stick for xbmc/kodi, and yesterday I sold the android box. So once it's paid for I'll OP that for a £10 month ending bonus!!

do you find the fire stick better than the android box? our box was great to start with but is now so glitchy it is unusable....debating whether to get a fire stick next time there's an offer....

Our box got glitchy when we tried using it at 9pm (strange). If we loaded a film at 8.45 it was great, but between 9 and 9.30 it was problematic! Fire stick is brilliant and a fantastic Christmas present! Currently watching the tenns on it. It loads up really quickly, rarely needs buffering on Genesis (and if t does it's literally 5 seconds). Phoenix is amazing for streaming sport and watching new films (revanant, bridge of spies, creed etc...). Our internet speed is about 4.5-5.5 and it works great with no difference between sky and our switch to talk talk. great for £25, and I can't see why anyone would want to pay for sky. We take it upstairs at night and our house is 3 floors and we don't get a signal drop.

£1 TT'd this morning and 1 day to account posting.

I have neglected other diaries over the last 10days but normal service should be resumed once back to work next week!

Sorry, was actually all "fired up":D to order sky for my mum today, when I saw your quotes re "Fire stick" - I'm not that great with all these "Extra's" so can I ask, if it would be easy for an allbeit elderly person to operate it, OK, they have just bought themselves a smartphone so not frightened with gadgets.

We did try out the NOW box:mad::mad::mad::eek: - it was returned.:)
