Sold my Car and they paid me twice?

This reminds me of a chap who drove his brand new Rolls Royce to Monte Carlo. Whilst descending the twisty mountain roads into Monaco, the Spirit of Ecstasy fell off his bonnet and bounced down the mountainside.

As soon as he reached his hotel he called Rolls Royce to ask them to send a new statuette so that he could get a local mechanic to fit it. The next morning a Rolls Royce mechanic was in the foyer of the hotel ready to fit a new SoE which of course he duly did.

On his return to the UK the owner expected to find a bill for the repair but severall weeks passed. When he phoned them to ask where the bill was the head of servicing said: "I think sir might be mistaken, our Statuettes never fall off."!
