After all this comedy, I just hope that somebody will pass by NatWest on Bishopsgate tomorrow and check whether this fabulous ATM still exists, so that the rest of us can head over there clutching Clarity, Metro and NandP cards in our sweaty palms to milk it before it either runs out of € notes or the rate starts to drop back...!
    Evolution, not revolution

    It doesn't.
  • Many thanks for the replies. it does however seem there is no 100% answer.
Just to answer, the queries above. I have funds so can buy my Euro's whenever I need.
I have a clarity card, I was simply trying to find the best possible deal.
For the small margin, it may be simpler to order euros and get them delivered by whoever gives the best rate
  • Does anyone know if the ATM's at airports give the option of charging in Euro's when taking out Euro's
I am not near London so the ATM's there are of no use to me, but I am very near to Luton Airport

There are quite a number of ATMs in the UK that dispense Euros, including in airports. ALL of the ones I've seen, except for the one discussed at length in this thread, convert the Euro amount to GBP at a bad exchange rate and charge your card in GBP. Unless you can find a Euro ATM that actually charges your card the exact amount you withdrew, in EUR, avoid.
Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning

I just think you're wildly confused.

Understatement of the year. He/she is bonkers.
