    Morning everyone!

Been up for an hour, going to Brighton today for the Gay Pride festival! Hope it takes my mind off the ex's wedding today.
Well at least there is a God who listens, while we've got 25 degree sunshine, they've got the only bit of rain in Britain! :rotfl: My daughter keeps texting me with the craziest of messages....she's her mothers' girl all right!:j

Hope everyone has a great day, and just one last thing... thank you to everyone who sent me support and hugs on Thursday when I was really down.

    You're all great people!:T

Top of the morning to ya all! :):):)

I don't usually pop into the OS section so hope you don't mind me crashing the party?

It's a gloriously fantastically and smile-enducingly sunny day here in Aberdeen, who would want to go abroad when there's weather like this? :D

I'm going to wait for the postie to come along and build my bed whilst I'm at it, then hit the garden and try to make it presentable again after two years of neglect.

I'm also going to be one of those annoyingly cheerful people that try to infect everyone else with the bug even if they have no reason to be, just because I can and it's sunny so why not be happy?

Happy Saturday! Hey, it only comes once every seven days so make the most of it!

    H.

    Morning :hello:

I'm having a lazy day today :D Just some ironing and hoovering to do.

We didn't go Harry Potter mad when everyone else did, we watched the films on dvd months after they'd been released and we've had the first four books for ages but they've been sat on the bookshelf. I started reading them last week, I'm going to start the third book today :D

I was running around like a loon yesterday, 2 loads of washing, work, walked into town and jiggled cheques and cash between 2 bank accounts, bit of shopping in Wilkinsons. Then it was back home for a late lunch, out again to Morrisons, back home to throw the shopping into cupboards and make cakes and mini-pizzas, shower then back out again to visit friends who had Brazilian friends visiting - that was the hardest part, their accent was so strong that I couldn't understand them :rotfl:

Well, my family are almost ready to depart for their camping trip. They will be away for a week :j I have chickened out of camping this year (I need a trial run at it -maximum 2 night's only)

I am really looking forward to my week's holiday from washing, ironing, cleaning, hoovering, cooking meals everyone likes and last but not least arguing and whinging kids :D I will be doing some housework today, but I reckon that'll be it-I won't need to hoover or tidy again till they get back, because I won't be messing it up !

I'm planning to: have a sort out, a wander round Waitrose buying a few treats for my suppers, listen to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows audiobook which should be arriving today, maybe do some gardening, maybe a walk up the Malverns, have meals when I like and enjoying the peace :D

The only thing is, I don't sleep well when they're away. When OH is here my 'listening for burglars ear' switches off as I leave that to him, but when I'm alone it switches on and is super-sensitive so I wake up everytime a cat yowls outside  I may end up painting the living room in the middle of the night.

I'm planning to have a mushroom omelette for lunch followed by strawberries.
For supper I'm having garlic prawns, salad and crusty bread with a bit of chocolate for pud. Half a bottle of wine later ;):D
