Things that annoy you in pubs/ restaurants

Staff waiting until after they have brought your food to the table to ask what condiments you would like ...... and then taking 5 minutes to return with ketchup/ horseradish/ mint sauce/ mustard - whilst the food is going cold. Why can't they use some common sense and bring the more obvious ones to the table before the food is brought out? Even better - have a policy where the meal is free if they don't have the condiments on the table first! Worked one hundred per cent in a restaurant in the States I regularly visited.0

People blowing their nose whilst others are eating, go to the loo and sort yourself out
People not washing hands after using the looIf you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. - Mark TwainNappies and government ministers need to be changed frequently and for the same reason0 -
Too many tables and chairs crammed in.
Music so loud that you can't hear yourself think.0 -
Loud music, kids and dogs.
Traditional restaurants are usually ok, but pub/restaurants can be annoying, with the above....

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.

Something that bothers me in smaller dining places and coffee shops, is when people take up tables for four when there are only two of them or even alone.0

Usually because places for two are too cramped!I want my sun-drenched, wind-swept Ingrid Bergman kiss, Not in the next life, I want it in this, I want it in this
Use your imagination, or you can borrow mine!0 -
As we've previously clarified you work in a supermarket cafe I assume you don't clearing away plates etc. Personally I find it irritating.
No we haven't, you have just decided to assume probably in an attempt to amuse yourself. I have never worked in a Supermarket or for a catering company so you're not even close!0 -

Or there weren't any available when they came in.
I always feel slightly guilty taking up four seats for two when all the two seat positions are occupied. (Or too cramped or by the door.)There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Being seated next to the toilets/"band"/or the entrance to the kitchen.
Fine if you've turned up on the night, not so much when you've booked months in advance or the place is half empty.0 -

I totally agree and It only really annoys me when there are plenty of two person spaces available, yet you see the few large tables taken up by the one person who thinks his bag, needs a seat of it's own.
I do realise that some places cram the odd table in where no one could sit (I wouldn't blame you), but I think you would agree that 99% of two seaters are perfectly fine for two people.0
