Things that annoy you in pubs/ restaurants

Things that directly impact on me. For instance a noisy diner or an inattentive waiter.
A person not holding their cutlery correctly has no impact on me at all and therefore would not annoy me.
Which proves Hermione's point. A noisy diner wouldn't bother me. But i won't say that you need medical help as you think different from me.
Apology?0 -
The ladies loo where the exit door has to be pulled open to get out. I've been to the loo, I've washed my hands, I'm watching others coming out of the toilets, not washing their hands and heading straight for the door. Opening the exit door with their dirty unwashed hands. I then have to pull the dirty door open with my clean hands! UGH! I usually have a tissue that I wrap round my hand to pull the door open, then throw it in a bin.
This applies to almost every restaurant loo I've ever been in and most loos in shopping centers. YUK!0 -
Just because a noisy person would anny one person doesn't automatically mean that it would annoy everyone and it wouldn't bother me in the least either.
I lived and worked in Africa for close to 20 years and in many of the places i worked, it seemed to be standard practice among many of the locals to talk as loudly as possible even if the people you were conversing with were sitting right beside you.
After getting used to this, a bit of noise from one or two people in a cafe or restaurant in the UK is something that I don't even notice.0 -

In what way does a diner leaving their tray on the table in a fast food restaurant impact you (one of your peeves) - unless it is at the only empty table in the place?0 -

Because it means I can't sit at that table.
I don't go to fast food places regularly but when I do I find them very busy and it's annoying when you see someone leave a table and you can't sit there because they've left their tray.0 -

People who can't spell "queue".
Especially when they sit close to me in a restaurant.0 -
Staff who don't listen.
I booked a table for us at Red Hot Buffet World for Valentines Day. I specifically contacted them to ask for a table on the same level as the food as I can't do stairs. They had no idea of this when we arrived (typical) but when they saw me with my crutches they asked to us to take a seat until a table on the same level as the food came up. The same member of staff came back and said they had a table 'just at the top of a flight of stairs, is that ok?' Aaaargh! This was the same person I had told five minutes earlier I can't manage stairs at all!!
Another pet hate. When they cram in as many chairs/tables as possible. Not only an issue for disabled access but also for those who maybe slightly larger or indeed pregnant ladies.
And as for the cutlery debate- I'm also left handed and eat with my fork in my left hand, knife in my right. If I'm eating with a fork or spoon alone then they're held in my left.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

Which is annoying and affects me. Hence why I have included it as something that is annoying.
As we've previously clarified you work in a supermarket cafe I assume you don't clearing away plates etc. Personally I find it irritating.0 -
Repeated 'are you happy with everything' queries by servers, when we're happily eating..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0
