It depends on where you are going but if the customs form asks if you are carrying food then tick the yes box to be safe, they will soon tell you if it is allowed.0

If the OP is visiting ex-pats who live abroad, he/she may have been given a shopping list of the foods they miss most.0 -

I've travelled with all manner of UK foods as gifts for friends abroad (to the point the Cadburys outlet store near me ask me when my holiday is when I'm stocking up
) but I'd put it in the hold bags for several reasons including customs finding them interesting (I don't take in anything I shouldn't but don't really want to be delayed itemizing everything on arrival and avoiding leaky foodstuffs in hand baggage.
I was giggling at the thought of a holiday without custard as unthinkable though !!
Depends where you are going though- some countries prohibit importing dairy or animal products - don't know if custard power has dried milk in it.......or (non veggie) gelatine.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Do you intend to eat it or sniff it?
I love the smell of custard but can't stand to eat it.0 -

I'd dread if my suitcase had been checked. use to take mushy peas, baked beans with sausages, tomato ketchup, salad cream, gravy granules, pork scratchings, to a friend who use to live in Tunisia.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

When we lived in South Africa...nearly 25 years ago! We begged grandparents to bring tins of rice pudding over in their hand luggage. It was nearly 5 quid a can in the supermarkets!!SPC7 ~ Member#390 ~ £432.45 declared :j
