Don't want to blame myself for not knowing the (very obvious and easy to find) rules of transport is more accurate.
The only person who's pulled any kind of scam is the person that's told the OP that British Airways operate airports.
If you send that in as a complaint, it'll end up on the wall for everyone to laugh at.0 -
