you've not mentioned anything about your lease,- unless its buried in one of those blocks of texts. lots of prattle about rules and so on but i haven't found anything about the all important lease/rental agreement. and I'm not sure if anyone else has either
What does your lease say?
post it up on here and please break it up into some paragraphs.
this whole.
again what does your lease/rental agreement sayFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Hi, that's what only can find as part of my (lease/rental agreement).
You tenant will not:
Park any motor vehicle in any such area, other than designated for the use of the property.
Halfway you may have missed this post which I took to mean there is nothing stated in the lease that the OP should have to display a permit.
There are scores of threads where ppc's have imposed themselves on tenants with dire consequences and the OP needs to read up on these before going off at a tangent.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0 -
good, if the lease is clear then I would hand back the permit and tell the management company to stop their agents from pursiung this.
It would be interesting to see how Mike Perkins and co can claim that the permit holders contractualy agreeing to pay them what is in effect a disguised penatlyFrom the Plain Language Commission:

adamli, you are making a pigs ear of this.
It appears that you haven't read the NEWBIES thread properly and haven't addressed the points about your lease.
Why on earth did you 'phone the PPC? Never ever, ever 'phone a PPC.
I tried reading your first long post but kept losing my place so I gave up reading.
Slow down and think this through. We have asked you to tell us about your lease. I think it doesn't mention a parking permit but I'm not sure because there was an information overload, a lot of which didn't make sense.
So, let's start again. Does your lease require you to show a permit to park your car? Yes or no? Does your lease mention a parking permit at all? Yes or no?
If the answer is no, you hand your permit back, tell the PPC in writing that you are not a member of their permit scheme and that any further communication from them other than cancellation will constitute harassment. Do not 'phone them, do not talk to them if they 'phone you.
I explained all this in post 6 but you seem to think talking about swapping parking spaces when there is a visitor has more relevance. What happened on the day is irrelevant and will get you nowhere.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Sorry, this the first time me dealing with those kind of things.
Here is what my tenancy agreemend say.
You the Tenant will not:
Park any motor vehicle in any such area, other than designated for the use of the property.
That's all I got. Once again sorry for the long post.0 -
If that's all it says (cuts off at what I assume is the word 'proper') it's meaningless.
No one can state 'it should mean this or that' and that you've agreed to it.
It's a totally meaningless clause as it's incomplete and incomprehensible.Unless specifically stated all posts by me are my own considered opinion.
If you don't like my opinion feel free to respond with your own.0 -
In the context of the rest of the sentence, I'd take a stab at the truncated word 'prop' to actually say 'property'.0

As the OP says somewhere in his text the PPC is CPS, and getting a straight or coherent answer is difficult, I wonder if this is a perky wind up of the forum and we suddenly find out there's a court case so he can crow about beating Internet gurus.Originally Posted by shortcrust

Judging by the sentence structures and overall grammar, I rather suspect that English is not his 1st language. That said, I don't seem to be able to separate blocks of text when I post. Something loses it's formatting when I post, it may be because I have lots of filters and adblocking software running. I also disable Java script.0
