TESCO H&B COUPONS - Thread 3 *See First Post for UPDATES*

Woo hoo! I had a brilliant visit all round yesterday!

Did my 'natural healthy charlene' shop, split into two, Sa was great and chatty as always! So glad I've found her, as my usual is scarce these days! first one had toiletries:

2 x aqua fresh £2.99 BOGOF
4 x carex £1.38 BOGOF

= £5.75 (£11.50 before BOGOF)

Used:
1 x £2.50 HB, 2 x £1 HB, 2 x £1.25 QK = £7.00 which leaves £1.25 towards rest of shop!

This shop generated a Free dove soap wys £2 or more on any dove bath, bodywash or soap

Second shop I did a healthcare shop

4 x Haliborange A C and D £2.12 BOGOF

=£4.24
Used £2 Healthcare QK, 2 x 1 Peach healthcare, 2 x £1 kids vits = £6.00 so £1.74 off rest of shop!
This one generated 300 points off £12 menswear!

Also picked up a baby goodie bag which was fantastic! Loads of goodies, but I went back to ask if I could swap for a kids bag, she said there were none, so maybe I could give my 21 month old the food!? (LOL, food is for 4-6 months!) Can't grumble, still I great bag!

Then I went to CS, exchanged a skirt for dd1, I decided to purchase this school skirt anyway, even though it was too big, as vouchers were running out, and I hoped to get the smaller size and did! She also refunded a few items which were on deal, but gave me full price for them!! As I said, a great day!

Had 60 HB £2.50's left Sunday...only got about 10 now...never ever thought i'd shift over 220, looks as though i may be begging for more etc, by end of week......didnt leave one shop on the belt tonight...in one store, there was only me, 4 cashiers a supervisor and a security guard...used 3 of the cashiers, talked with the supervisor, and asked the security guard if he knew where there were any Quit Packs...he didnt........this store must have an "accept anything" policy, as i've never had any bother at all here, RnRed some nice phones here as well(last year), but had confrontation with manager once, who refused to give me my RandRed coke.....his reason...he didnt want to.... as i was known to HO at this time, and already had 7 x 24 cases in boot of car, decided to let it go.....but did get 4 packs of duracell batteries off him....

keep your fingers crossedfor me folks. There are some very kind people on MSE and I now have some nice £2.50 and £1 coupons for toiletries!!! OLD BAG ALERT IS ON!!!

SA refused to take H & B coupons as I didn't have a clubcard! She said they are Tesco coupons and only for clubcard members!

so just say you'd left it at home and will bring it in to add on the points

That's probably so they can track who is using them! I don't use my clubcard when using lots of coupons. I do sigh over all those lovely points but DS has turned into a womble and has started collecting receipts for me. I found 36 of them stuffed into the little cubby his side of the car the oher day tho all bar 4 had less then 5 on and i wont draw attention for that many LOL!

I said that to her but she insisted I had one there and then.

I gave her the temporary 'emergency' paper one I had in my purse. Before she used it she said have you sent the form away for registration? I said 'of course'. She was okay then .

In another Tesco store the young SA called a passing SA and said can I use these coupons as she thought it was 1 for each customer (not one per item). The other SA said if the lady has bought the things.

They then discussed the newsletter going round their store about NOT taking too many coupons especially the toiletry ones.

Something about coupons is being circulated to stores.

I did some great shops yesterday - went out to car in between and came back in, used same checkout girl. She just turned them over and scanned away. In the last transaction we were chatting and she said she normally works on CS and not the tills!! So if there is something circulating, then some of the CS team don't read it.

Trying to firgure out best way to get things I actually need now [but that aren't on BOGOFs], tampax etc. Is it worth saving as many Quit 1.25s then for future use or is it likely that there wont be anything to combine with. I know it's prob impossible to predict but any experienced members know of any patterns in coupon issuing?

scottishf. Look at first page. Everything is listed there under toiletry and beauty.

H & B coupons run out on Sunday.
