Hi CheekyLittleMonkey,

sorry if i've misled you - the NC mousse is mainly a silver can but has a pink band at the top and the bottom. It says NEW and is the endless waves defrizzing rich cream mousse. It's the only one I've bought so I wasn't really aware of the differences in colour of can.

hi, this is my first post, i just wanted to say thanks for all your tips i have been reading the last few weeks:j i managed to get hold of some H&B coupons from an e bayer last week and did my first few shops over the weekend and it was great as i had some quits:T i noticed tonight there is someone else selling last minute H&B coupons on buy it now (sorry don`t know how to put it on here) but i don`t know if i will be brave enough to use them all up before they expire, although i am sure many of you would.:rotfl:

aarrggghhhhh - for ages I've been saying to my Mum how I can never find these H&B leaflets in store and if she ever sees them to grab them.....last night she digs in her bag and says "Oh - I've had these for ages but kept forgetting"......6 x £2.50 H&Bs!!! She's used the rest.

Help - can someone tell me the best way to use these? I don't have any £1 H&Bs or any quits.

I'd hate them to go to waste!

there is someone on e bay selling h&b`s in £1 and £2.50. i got some last week, but not brave enough to do too many this week to use them all up.

OOH LOL, OUR FAMILY WENT TO aLTON tOWERS FOR THE DAY FREE WITH EXPRESS (oops soz, caps on) and did a tour of tesco on the way home. Uttoxeter was brill! Young lad scanned everything. Then called in a meir and surly girl said Sorry you have to buy the product or we only take one coupon per transaction.
OK I said, void it all off and I'll pay for it bit by bit.
But we only take 10 per cent she said.

I fished out my tesco e mail to no avail, and said "Ok then, void it all off", left it in the trolley and toddled off out of the store. Avoid that one like the plague!

I did save about £70 that day though!

Since I had my kids I have read FAR much more than is good for me about dangers in this life and as mobile phone masts is one I refuse to have one as it is the use of mobiles that works the masts . (Off topic but have you ever laughed at the idiots in local papers standing with placards proclaiming "NO MOBILE MASTS". Then they get out their mobile to call their husband to ask has he put the dinner in yet! I mean come on !!!!!! how do they think they work? Its like driving to a an anti petrol demo!!:rolleyes: )

I also walk every bleedinwhere I can, including 2/3 miles each way to school, to avoid polluting everywhere, although the upside is, I save a fortune on petrol, spend nothing on expensive mobiles/calls (my phone bill is £20 a quarter) and despite being 44 can still fit into clothes I wore at 20 due to all the exercise I get!:D :j

However I no longer shop in that store. if I did, I think I would have borrowed someone's mobile just to do that!!:T :rotfl:

Planned to stay here for final 3 hours or so, as its massive, and thought it would be ok....far from correct...first double I left on belt as he said only half in coupons could be accepted....said he would have to call a manager to void the transaction....I left quickly but decided as it was a big store i would try again, but cover myself with extra coupons...so did the 14 Radox, and a box of Salmon fillets(greatly reduced at £4.80)....for total £25.52, £13.86 Radox bogof for £11.66(thanks to glitch) to pay..(wish I'd now done same transaction 3 or 4 times....i like salmon).....so handed him the £2x £2.50 and 2x£1 for Radox....and 2x£1,25 and another 2x£1....leaving a cool 16p to pay....

Well thinking I'd found a happy scanner, went back in and did Radox and Loaded/Dove combo....but he wasn't having any of it this time, I hadn't spent £10 on the Radox he said,,,wasn't going to budge, and although next one would possibly have gone through, couldn't wait for(possibly) same manager to cancel transaction...left quickly again and decided to call it a day........total drive(circular route) of about 50 miles(£4)..and total cost less than £2 inc salmon and other essentials.............Only about 30 £2.50's left now......should get rid ok...

Leadhead when you finallygive up couponing (in the year 3012) you really should write a book on your exploits!

I like salmon too lol, we have it every Friday so would have defo done what you did! I can't believe how brave you are, but I have this mental image of you hotfooting before manager comes up to void it off, then having to think about a second quick exit before manager comes YET AGAIN!! to void off! :rotfl:

There are sme very kind people on this forum so I should have some H&B by ther weekend when i willl hitting a different area so fingers crossed for some H&B

btw everyone if you're ever a few pence short of the £10 total, I sometimes buy the 10 pack of value blue razors for my OH for 29p and he says they're ok. Just a thought.

I wasn't "quaking!" because I knew it said "free"...Ive got a long history in this store after beating the manager over a free PS2 bundle, after HO told him to give me it , in the good old RnR days...he banned me....

We went for a picnic yesterday on our way to Cheshire oaks and I was re-enacting your encounter with the SG! My kids were in bulk:D
I went out last w/e and hit a few tescos in one area and gave some coupons in at each. Not H&B just normal ones.
By the 3rd one, when a policewoman walked in I seriously thought she'd come to watch what i was up to!:rolleyes: :rotfl: I was in a state of panic till she bought her water and her sarnie and strolled out!

I know if they accept the coupons then we are not doing wrong but I feel a bit furtive at times, sneaking round to find checkout boy/girl who "looks" right and diving in quickly before a well meaning supervisor can say "Come to this till, there's a shorter queue", where sits Medusa's daughter waiting to refuse every coupon you have!

When I was using my remaining coupons the other day, I got diverted to a young guy who turned out to be a happy scanner and told me about a couple who come in twice a day and hand over PILES of coupons and never pay a thing. He said they'd signed up to a website which sends them all the coupons and had given him details and some coupons, but he couldn't remember what they were. He promised to have details for the next time I come in.

I suspect they gave him MSE or PTS details, but we'll see.
