hiya i had a fab time in this one yesterday infact it was my best achievement to date i came out all smug and smiley like a cheshire cat lol.
i usually put a few items in to 'hide' my h & b shop but as id left my oh in the car and a hungry little boy i just did a quick shop-my mind kinda woundnt work like it usually does and i forgot all my capabilitys of being able to add up lol but i ended up putting through kids s/poo, dove bogof,head shower bogof,so bogof, donuts and milk handed over 1 x £2.50 2x £1.25 and 1 x £1.00 and she said that will be 19 pence please!!!! OMG my face must have been a picture i have never managed this before i always end up paying £1 or £2 due to the other items i have,then the old lady behind me in the que said i hope my shopping is as good as yours lol.so i left a very happy bunny!!!!!

Just goes to show it depends on the checkput person doesnt it? I hope the surly girl who served me and the supervisor who came to void off all the shopping were on and get to hear about it!

i did think twice about handing them over as the checkout i went to was right next to the woman wearing the headset and she looked very strict luckily she got called away-great timing!! i shall return and try my luck again and let you all know.
i have some clothes coupons but i dont feel brave enought to use them yet think i need to a little bit more research first lol

lol I know what you mean about the people behind! They always look amazed!! And the other day I had a young lad scanned £20 of cou[pons, and whas he was finishing this stern old bag came up, and I thought uh oh. She appeared to be watching me (paranoia methinks)
anyway lad came off, old bag came on. I caught him just in time. Imagine if he'd gone off after serving the one before me??? It could have all been so different! It's just the luck of the draw I guess. Or if I'd waited another 2 minutes to go to till, cos I'd been "checking them out" and thinking not one "looked right" till i spotted him and zoomed in quickly he'd have gone!

With several sets of H&B peach vouchers to use, I set off for Tescos yesterday with the intention of doing 2 H&B shops separately, i'e doing one, put in car, go back in... and the day was so great I did three!

I kept the same H&B
4 x Radox
1 Tesco toothpaste
2 x Tesco hair wax
Giving me a Total of £10.66

I handed over 2 x £1.25 quit
40p colgate
1 x £2.50 H&B
2 x £1 H&B

Knowing that the radox glitch would give me more money I decided to add a few other items to my basket. First time bottle of wine, reduced bread and reduced veggies. Got young student bloke, took all my coupons and left me with £2.05 to pay. Also got till spit for the Lotus loo paper which I had another coupon for

I went to the car, dumped stuff, sorted out vouchers for next shop, took off my jacket (so the security guy wouldn't recognise me!):rotfl: and headed back in.

Got same H&B, dodged the checkout bloke who had come off his till and was doing put-backs, picked up a dinner tray, a set of kitchen scissors and the Lotus loo paper and went to find another student bloke. This time he took all my vouchers and the total came to 65p.

Back to car and I thought this is too good, I have to have another go. I put my jacket back on, sorted out vouchers and went back.

Did same H&B and heard an announcement on the tannoy that goods were greatly reduced on aisles 20 and 25 so I scampered off and bought lots of sandwich cut meat for the freezer. This time I went to a checkout girl and got her in conversation about her A levels. She took all my coupons and the total came to £1.65. She didn't bat an eyelid. So I scampered off to the car and went home to my jaw-dropping husband!

I didn't feel brave enough to load three shops on to one conveyer belt and as long as you know what you want it was quite quick.

Gonna go back tomorrow and do the same!

Tried being smart and using a lot of coupons at the same time......bought stuff totalling more than £20 before BOGOF..tried to use



2 x £2.50 off a 10 spend (worked)
4 x £1.00 off a £4 spend(only one went through )

Dont understand why it only took one of the £1 toiletries coupon

What was you buying? Could it be that not all your items classed as toiletires ie were beauty products?

Dusty, i bought dove handwash, carex handwash, and cleansing wipes....i thought all these were toieltries
