I said that to her but she insisted I had one there and then.

I gave her the temporary 'emergency' paper one I had in my purse. Before she used it she said have you sent the form away for registration? I said 'of course'. She was okay then .

In another Tesco store the young SA called a passing SA and said can I use these coupons as she thought it was 1 for each customer (not one per item). The other SA said if the lady has bought the things.

They then discussed the newsletter going round their store about NOT taking too many coupons especially the toiletry ones.

Something about coupons is being circulated to stores.

Hi Maisie - did this happen in the two stores nearest to us?

    I've been Money Tipped!
New method for finding a willing SA:

Greets you with the word "alright?"

says good bye by using the word "sweet"

has worked pretty well on my last 3 shops.

And as for memos circulating about coupon usage, the powers that be surely should have learned over these many years that the only way to reduce coupon usage is to programme tills not to accept them, as we all know every staff member applies HO policy depending on which way the wind is blowing.

Had to void of a shop other day.Would only accept one coupon per customer per transaction despite buying the items.
At other local store they will only take one of each providing you have bought items and insist checking everything with supervisors in both stores.
It was going to happen.Still need to use up a few vouchers but getting harder now plus I have no quits left :-( woe is me.So trying to buy what I really need and will use now.
  • Quick question, I always H&B shop for bogofs so am only familiar with Lynx, Sanex, Radox, Carex etc. My OH has just asked if she can use H&B and quit coupons to buy make-up, Revlon in particular. What is the score with this? I'm sure someone here will know.

I think maybe the peach £1 H&B would be rejected for make-up as its a toiletries voucher, make-up probably classed as beauty? The £2.50 ones are for beauty and toiletries.
  • hi all sorry to bother you but i just wundered if any of you knew the best way to use my vouchers. i only have £2.50 off h and b and quit packs. i dont mind really what i get so long as its cheap, cheap, cheap:j

I have a feeling that i am now banned from my local, knew it would happen in the end, ever since i had my first r n r there, because it was a big one they wouldn't let it rest.....................

As for coupons, went in today, as soon as i was half way round, i saw a cs person who dashed to the till and was straight on the tanoy for the cs manager, i knew that was that, unloaded all stuff on belt first lot through would only accept one coupon, walkie talkies going, paid for the rest of the first lot, still cs manager had not shown, so she went ahead with the second lot, would not take any coupons not even a moc i recieved yesterday from the company on the grounds it was a photocopied piece of paper then it was an internet print out, she said i'm calling store manager over these, so she turned her back i snatched my coupon and told her i was not being treated like an idiot and walked out. Unbelievable.
got in and opened my toiletry cupboard :)
then my tesco direct orders came, check out the other threads some great deals not to be missed :rotfl:

oh well 20 2.50's left - they are not going in the bin! I live to fight another day!
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there

I'm gutted that I've only recently found this thread, so couldn't get any vouchers to abuse!!! When do you think the next voucher packs will be released? - or are there still ones out there to get, and I'm just missing them?

I'm gonna have a real go at thenext ones - it sounds like good fun. The only problem is that I don't have loads of cupboard space, which I'm guessing could turn out to be an issue
