In the time since I found this thread, ( oh joy ! ) there have always been Quit to combine with the vouchers that come and go. Now that they have gone, will there ever be ''free'' toiletries again, or just ''money off'' ? To all you regular posters, thank you so much. My ceiling isn't creaking under the weight. but I do have enough to keep my family going for a couple of years!
The So Beautiful coupons came around again, so the Quits may too. Or a variation of them at least. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
You don't need the Quits to get free toiletries - the HB coupons alone should do that.

That depends on what area you live in, I have not seen any HB or SB coupons this time in Essex area when I have gone shopping.
Although the other day my husband went into one of the Tesco that he often goes into and one of the SA came up to him and asked if it was him that was asking for the HB and SB coupons before,
"yes it was" he said
"I just thought that I would let you know that Tesco are looking into the distribution of the coupons as they now realise that it has not been fair to all there customers.
Also they are investigating staff keeping them for themselves and not passing them on, as soon as I know anything I will let you know but it's all a bit hush hush"
"Thank you very much "
and like a good little husband he rushed home and told me straight away and I'm keeping the secret aswell.

Hi all
I have been away on holiday for half term. had a great time and am still riding rollercoaters in my head!
I managed to offload well over £100 worth of coupons during my holiday by visiting tescos i have not been in before. We ate for free all week and I brought the car home stuffed with things.
I also managed to do a few health and beauty shops and came home with several handwashes, sanex shower gel, sanex deodorant, dove shampoo and about 15 boxes of toothpaste!!
I did get stumped in one store where the young lad was happily scanning everything until the jobsworth at the till behind said "You're not supposed to take that many" at which yhe called over a horrible supervisor who was rude to me and voided off every coupon one by one.
I complained to the manager she was rude and he apologised for her. he then took one of each different coupon from me for the shop, so i asked for the H&B stuff to be voided off lol.
Anyway I was happy with my efforts. As i said we ate for free and I came home with 2 new pairs of trainers for DS, 2 pairs of bargain pants for me reduced to £1 each!! a light up hallowe'en sword each for the kids, 5 packs of 3 pair of knickers (LOL) for 25p each, my christmas cake, selection boxes, sweet tubes, christmas puddings, advent calendars, plus fruit and veg for the week, and lots of tinned stuff, biscuits etc (non perishables.)
Then on Monday we went to Alton Towers free with the vouchers from the sun ( and parked for free too) and called at a tesco on way home and spent £30 there including a H&B shop and paid 50p for the lot!
I can be brown I can be blue I can be violet and sky. I can be hurtful I can be purple I can be anything you like..Gotta be green gotta be mean gotta be everything more...0 -
Am I right in thinking that there are only SB's available now, and that all the Qk's and H&B's have expired?
Maybe it is time for me to start learning about "Bootsing". Could someone post a link to the relevant thread please?Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
I think there has been a bit of unpleasantness, hoping that someone gets banned, isnt very pleasant.....as it should be "Each to their own"
Things like this criticism, cropped up every day on the old RandR thread...we created an "ethics" thread to get round clogging up the working thread.....thats where discussions like this should be held
But we all know what happened to R&R when people were openly posting what they were doing. I think most of us are just concerned that blatantly taking the mickey out of Tesco's policies on coupons will mean it will all end in tears. Tesco is pretty much the only supermarket that allows us to use coupons to more than 10% of the bill.0 -
My mother in law has just phoned, she was stopped at a car boot sale and asked by two undercover policeman if she had brought from a lady before at anyb other boot sales, she had just bought h & B from a stall. She lives in Dunstable so it would be local to that and the car boot sale was today.
Not sure if we should be worried abou this but I thought I should mention it as I have seen posts talking of boot salesKind Regards

Sorry if obvious, but what is R&R?0 -

It was the system Tesco had where if you were overcharged, even if only by 1p, then you were given all the money you had paid back PLUS you kept the items. So for instance if you were overcharged by a couple of quid on a £500 television you got your £500 back and you got to keep the telly.0
