Thanks krisskross....pity that's not still the case!0 -

We certainly did...........In one week in South West Scotland last year i visited over a dozen stores from Carlisle(i know Cumbria..not SW Scotland) to Stranraer in the south to just below Glasgow in the north...I picked up phones and/or PSP bundles in every stpore but 1........This led me to believe that at the time there were no RandRers in SW Scotland.......or if there were....how did they miss these.............and if you were brazzen enough (which i was)you took your £500 TV back for a full refund.....These were named Golden RandRs.Couponing....."every little hurts"

Yes it is a pity, and I will shoulder some of the blame for that....A lot of us were making a lot of money out of this, and possibly through telling our tales on here, although we knew we were being monitored, made Mr T change his policy.
Hes still possibly ripping off just as many(if not more) little old ladies, its just they cant get the items free now.....although theres been a couple of decent DtD's recently.
DtD is a refund of Double the Difference if you are overcharged....eg
£59.99 printer...get charged £99.99....difference £40, DtD £80
£99.99 - £80 means you get printer for £19.99....which happened not so long ago to one our distinguished posters...........The lady in question took it back and got a full £99.99 refund.
Now before the moralists step in.....You take it back, u give them the receipt, they give u the money...no lies, no arm twisting, no coercing or persuasion.......just bad management by T.Couponing....."every little hurts"

My mother in law has just phoned, she was stopped at a car boot sale and asked by two undercover policeman if she had brought from a lady before at anyb other boot sales, she had just bought h & B from a stall. She lives in Dunstable so it would be local to that and the car boot sale was today.
Not sure if we should be worried abou this but I thought I should mention it as I have seen posts talking of boot sales
Are you sure they were police and not inland revenue? They quite often go round looking for people trading (ie not legitimate booters) who should be paying tax on their earnings..........prob more likely if asking about seeing them elsewhere. If you are regularly buying (or couponing!!) goods and selling with view to make profit, you should be paying tax on it!! And why was your mum BUYING H&B???? Did you not send her some coupons!!!:rotfl:0 -

They said they were investigating the trader, asked if she had been given a receipt asked to look at the goods. They said she could keep the goods but asked her for her name and address and telephone number. According to my MIL they were asking several people and they all appeared to have stuff such as Sanax, Dove, Plax and toothpaste which is why I thought of the coupons.
My brother in law works for headoffice in a very good position so it's best I don't tell her just incase she lets anything slip. She was simply telling me about their day and it sent alarm bells ringing.Kind Regards
