Your children are very lucky to get 2 holidays, but please do spare a thought for the many families who don't get to benefit because there are no coupons left for them!

Sorry but I am talking about manufacturers coupons, not coupons taken off the shelf leaving none for anyone else, thank you.
I also said budgeting and going without. We walk everywhere instead of drinving, noone in our family has a mobile phone and I buy all our clothes in the sales. I also dont go out or spend money on myself in order to save for my children to have holidays, so please do not judge me thank you.

But that said if leadhead does what he does, good luck to him. I am sure if you were desperate and asked him he would send a few.

I use childs ibuprofen on my son too! Is that ok? You have scared me now!
I normally use own brands paracetamol like tesco or asda, never actually calpol itself but I guess its all the same stuff!

FYI I had all of my coups taken today by a ?60 YO bloke, who told me his store had a max limit of 3 MOCs to be used if you didn't buy the products. Our Daily Mail MOC worked, but for £4, not £6.50 (my sis bought 16 of them, so that was a releif lol!).

Oooooh.... and I got a Friday till spit (£1.50 off some tin of plantation-something sugar).

I'm all out of coupons now, after a good few weeks of stocking up, so no last minute panick-buying for me this time around - I can't wait for the next batch to launch though, cos I'm going to miss it! Do you think they will have more vouchers in the run up to Xmas, or will they wait until after New Year?

Thanks for all of the good advice on here

What is Daily Mail MOC FOR £4.00?

  • Had a few coupons refused today. My h&b came to nearly £12 pre bogof, but he only took £1 h&b and £1.25 QK and 1x50 pointer! (Gave back £1, £1.25. £2.50 and 4 other 50 pointers) Luckily I'd used a few other mocs, so got £10 off the whole shop, so not a complete disaster. This was a spotty youth, as well! I seem to do better with the older women.

Cheapest jointcare on line is £7.78. I like to keep it as simple as poss. so I will try:

    2 x £7.78 = 15.56
    3 x 15p paracetamol = 45p
    takes total spend to £16.01
    minus BOGOF of £7.78
    leaves £8.23 to pay

    will use 4 X £1 peach H&B
    and 2 x £2 Quit

gives you £8 off, so 23p to pay. Hopefully!

Did a variation of this today bought 2 seven seas jointcare advanced £8.31
bogof so thought no need to buy the paracetomol. Tried to use 2 x £2 quit and 4x £1 peach H&B leaving 31p to pay.
Didn't work only took 2x£2 quits and 2x1 H&B despite the cashier trying 3 times.
Good news worked out why and got success with same guy 10 minutes later.
Solution it will only take each different coupon for number of items bought so need 4 items for 4 of the same coupon to be accepted like the 50 pointers.

Hope this is helpful as don't think I have seen this posted before.

I'll just about learn all the tricks and then it will be all over.

Same thing happened to me. I used the selfscan till though (I always do 'cos the staff on the normal tills at my local metro are a nightmare) I've never had a problem on the selfscan tills before. They've always approved my coupons. However, there was a new person supervising the selfscan tills and when the till I was using asked for approval, she came over and asked what I'd bought. She wanted me to empty out all my shopping (all 5 bags!) so she could check what I used the coupons against! Then she called over another supervisor (I've had problems with this one before over coupons) and she said she would have to open the box to check what coupons I'd used. Then she handed back nearly all my coupons and said I couldn't use them. She said head office had sent a memo out to all stores about customers using too many coupons. I asked why Tesco print so many coupons if we're no allowed to use them, but she couldn't answer that one! In the end I just grabbed my coupons and walked out, leaving my shopping behind for them to unpack, LOL.... I won't be going back to that store again.
