What did we do wrong ???

    DH bought:
    Dove Conditioner x 2 £3.82 BOGOF
    Toothbrush £1.47
    Sanex Deodrant x 2 £4.94 BOGOF
    Toothpaste 90p
    Total ... £11.13
    Minus BOGOF £4.38
    Total .... £6.75

    Tried to use
    Used
    1 x Colgate 40p
    1 x £2.50 wys £10 on beauty & toiletry
    1 x £1 wys £4 on toiletry
BUT only had 40p off toothpaste & £1 off toiletry accepted. I went to the CS and told them I HAD spent £10 so my £2.50 MOC should work, she even got her calculator out and said yes I had, then she looked at the BOGOF's on the till receipt and said that I had to spend £10 AFTER the BOGOf price. :o I was reluctant to argue. What did I do wrong???

I don't want to do it wrong again as these are the only coupons I have

for some reason it looks as though the toothbrush may have been the offending article to bring your total to below £10..it wasnt from the "baby" section by any chance...and as your other combo worked it cant have anything to do with that store setting its own tills to after bogof totals.

Those of you that buy bits and pieces to disguise h+b stuff..... I always get a couple lottery tickets from the cashier..... sometimes distracts cashier from the fact that you are passing too many coupons over too! :D

Or (as I recently found out last Saturday) get a top up voucher for any network :D
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!
    Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945
    Smoke free days = 11 Years :T
Cash saved so far = £125,45,11

FYI I had all of my coups taken today by a ?60 YO bloke, who told me his store had a max limit of 3 MOCs to be used if you didn't buy the products. Our Daily Mail MOC worked, but for £4, not £6.50 (my sis bought 16 of them, so that was a releif lol!).

Oooooh.... and I got a Friday till spit (£1.50 off some tin of plantation-something sugar).

I'm all out of coupons now, after a good few weeks of stocking up, so no last minute panick-buying for me this time around - I can't wait for the next batch to launch though, cos I'm going to miss it! Do you think they will have more vouchers in the run up to Xmas, or will they wait until after New Year?

Thanks for all of the good advice on here
