Seriously though....Have u read the first post on this thread.

A £2.50 coupon allows you £2.50 off a £10 spend before bogof, and you can only use 1 of the same coupon for every £10....So if you only have this one type of coupon, I'm afraid you are still going to have to pay 50% of the cost, as buying £10 bogof, brings you cost down to £5 with the ability to use only one £2.50.

You need to find either the £2.50 SB, the £1.25 quit, or the £1 toiletry coupons to enable you to reduce the cost.

You needn't always buy bogof if u have a lot of coupons, but in your case bogof halves the price, and gives you a good start.

Most of us use the manned tills as the SS tills will beep for authorisation, and most of us know which SA's are coupon friendly.

Remember though couponing is a privilege, not a right, and is always SA dependant.

Was over in Manchester today...... think it was the big Stockport Extra.....just off jct 27 M60, by big red old mill type building.... had loads of SB booklets. Relieved them of a few but loads left underneath make up and on CS desk.

Well I had a really wierd thing happen today....one in which I had to seek assistance of cs:eek: .

I bought about twenty quids worth of shopping (all food) plus over a tenners

worth of toiletries and used over a tenner in various coups. I was asked to

pay 30 quid at till which I thought was a bit steep but thought it was due to

an unscanned product or coupon.

However, there on receipt in the middle was a random 12 quid women's

jumper .

Fortunately this store does not sell clothes so went straight to CS where

they rescanned everything:rolleyes: trying to find the dodgy barcode???!!!

The only thing we did find was an unscanned packet of prawns:D .

The cs did discuss the possibility that only part of the prawn barcode had

been scanned hence the till thought it was a women's jumper!!

Anyway after a bit gave me 12 quid refund and off I went smiling at the fact

they hadn't even noticed all the coupons:rotfl: .

So watch those receipts peops.:cool:

Thanks leadhead...read first post but it is a bit confusing for a coupon virgin like myself!

if i buy just over £10 before bogof kicks in which then brings it down to just over a fiver...can i use the £2.50 H&B ( off a £10 spend)and the £1 HB off a £4 spend in same transaction??? I also have a £1.25 qk too, can i only use one of these?:money:

you could use 2 of the £1.25 quits and 2 of the £1 hb's as well as one 2.50 hb and also a so beautiful 2.50 if u have it...

Yes, you can use a £2.50 off a £10 spend (as you have spent £10) the till is stupid and although it knows you have bought BOGOFs coupons come into play when you hit the £10 mark regardless of whether you buy BOGOF stuff or not. You can also use 1 QK or 2 £1.25 QKs if you spend £10. The £1 off a £4 spend is if you have bought healthcare products not beauty so you'd have to do a separate shop to use that.

Have a look at the baby and toiletry section on tesco.com it neatly lists what is in each section. Happy Couponing.

Evening all. Just had my second H&B shop. I made a slight error in that I spent just under a tenner so the £2.50 voucher didnt go through. Still toiletries worth £9.77 for £2.75 aint bad, if I had bought some cheapo toothpast it would have been next to nothing !

And their DTD policy on an overcharge was offered and implemented as per the big blue board?

Which prawns by the way? I'll try a packet on the scanner tomorrow.

In addition to the £1 off healthcare that you have mentioned there is also a £1 off a £4 toiletry spend that can be used if you are buying toiletries eg showergel etc so you can use 2 of those on a £10 spend (before bogofs of course).

Example shop:
6 x impulse 1.78 x 6 = £10.68
after bogofs £5.34

You can use
1 x £2.50 HB
2 x £1 HB (toiletry)
2 x £1.25 Quit

giving you £7 off therefore a credit of £1.66 towards the rest of your shopping.

Does anyone know if they have HB or So Beautiful leaflets in Pitsea store. Tried all last week and previous but haven't had car this week. Was gonna bus it tomorrow and just wanted to know if it'll be worth it!
