Plenty of helpful advice has been given, which of course you can choose to ignore.
As an alternative and one of my favoured methods of dealing with these scum is to be verbally abusive down the phone. I find they usually hang up.
Yeh, the receiver has well & truly been put down. Now will you !!!! Off?
